  • Jimin's Who has topped Spotify Korea's Daily Top Song Chart for a record 500 days.
  • The BTS member now has the most No. 1 entries in Spotify Korea history as a solo artist.
  • The song's persistent Korean popularity has also resulted in a substantial global chart presence.

BTS member Jimin has achieved a historical Spotify Korea ranking record, highlighting a solo career that is quickly challenging worldwide pop benchmarks. As per a Naver entertainment article, official Spotify Korea data shows Jimin's second solo album MUSE’s title track Who, has been No. 1 on the Daily Top Song chart for 500 days, as of Jan 6, 2026.

Spotify's Daily Top Song chart ranks songs based on daily streams in various regions, in this case, South Korea. It is an essential metric of local consumption on the world's largest audio streaming service. And, Jimin's achievement reflects the highest overall number of No. 1 rankings in Spotify Korea history for any song, making it an unprecedented feat in the chart's history.

Before Who, Jimin’s Song From First Album Garnered A Similar Feat

Jimin's Who debuted at the peak on July 19, 2024, and has remained on top for an extended amount of time, which is uncommon even for the biggest global blockbusters. His chart supremacy is known to be multilayered. His single, Like Crazy from his first solo album FACE, had achieved the No. 1 position 268 times, on the same chart.

Together with hits like Set Me Free Pt. 2, Angel Pt. 1, and an English version of Like Crazy, Jimin has amassed a total of 804 No. 1 positions across all his tracks. He is also the first and only artist to have achieved 800 cumulative No. 1s on Spotify Korea's Daily Top Songs chart, which is by far the most for any artist in its history.

Furthermore, Who is presently the most-streamed song on Spotify Korea, with over 89 million total plays, helping Jimin to become the only artist with two songs that have surpassed 50M streams.

The song's performance in weekly charts is noteworthy as well. It was the first and only single to top Spotify Korea's Weekly Top Songs chart for an entire year (52 weeks in a row). It has since extended that streak to 71 weeks at No. 1, demonstrating its lasting power.

Jimin’s Solo Career Beyond Korea Is Just As Promising

Jimin's accomplishment mirrors a broader trend of streaming milestones. Beyond Korea, Who has achieved strong global results. This includes long stints on Spotify's international charts (like Spotify U.S. recording over 400M streams for the song) as well as prominent rankings on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, thus establishing record-setting rankings for a K-pop solo track.

Even within BTS's own chart history, Jimin's solo achievement stands out. His ability to sustain enormous streaming numbers outside of the group's complete commercial cycle, and sometimes without customary promotional initiatives, represents a shift in how major group members can launch successful solo careers in the digital era.

The continued success of Who indicates not only strong fan support but also a growing international desire for K-pop solo acts in an increasingly globalized music market. Compared to the streaming power of other major K-pop singles, including his fellow BTS member Jungkook's Seven, which spent substantial time on charts worldwide, Jimin's Korean streaming domination still remains unparalleled.
