KPop Demon Hunters’ New Physical Soundtrack and Sequel Details
The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack is listed as a Various Artists release through Island and will be issued on LP. The new pressing adds another physical format to a soundtrack that has continued to expand beyond the Netflix film.
The release arrives after the soundtrack and its fictional performers achieved several chart milestones:
- Golden spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
- Golden, How It’s Done, Your Idol, and Soda Pop simultaneously reached the Hot 100’s top 10.
- Golden became the first K-pop song to win a Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media.
- HUNTR/X singers EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, and REI AMI were collectively named Billboard Women of the Year in 2026, marking the first time the honor went to a group.
- Golden became the first K-pop track to win an Oscar for Best Original Song.
The film’s popularity also led Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation to confirm in March 2026 that a sequel is in development, with the follow-up currently targeting a reported 2029 release.
