- The three-day gaming and pop culture event runs from October 31 to November 2, 2025.
- The festival will feature major esports tournaments, cosplay, and a large BYOD LAN zone.
NODWIN Gaming announced this week that DreamHack India, the country's premier digital festival, will return to Hyderabad from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2, marking the event's sixth year.
The three-day festival will again partner with Hyderabad Comic Con, creating what organizers describe as India's most comprehensive celebration of gaming, esports, comics and cosplay culture. The collaboration brings together two of the region's most popular entertainment events under a single venue.
Since its inception, DreamHack India has established itself as a cornerstone event for the country's rapidly growing gaming community. This year's program will feature competitive esports tournaments, technology exhibitions and appearances by prominent content creators, according to organizers.
The Heart of DreamHack India's Return: The BYOD Zone
At the core of the event is the legendary Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) zone. Described as the perfect weekend gaming getaway for college students and working professionals, it's a three-day, non-stop LAN party where you and your crew can compete and connect. And if you don't want to lug your own PC, you can even rent one on-site this year.
"Over the past six years, our partnership with DreamHack has built some of India’s most iconic gaming moments, and blending it with Comic Con has created a one-of-a-kind celebration where gaming meets pop culture," said Akshat Rathee, co-founder and managing director of NODWIN Gaming. "Hyderabad’s fans have always brought unmatched energy... This October, we’re coming back bigger and bolder than ever."
The festival will feature multiple competitive gaming events, including PAN FEST, an open tournament for the mobile game Battlegrounds Mobile India with daily elimination rounds. The fighting game community will participate in KO Fight Night, featuring competitions in Tekken 8, Super Smash Bros. and Street Fighter VI.
Traditional games will also have a presence through Chess at DreamHack India, which will include rapid and blitz format matches. A designated retro gaming area will feature classic arcade games like Contra and Pac-Man, as well as traditional board games including Monopoly and Carrom.
Shefali Johnson, chief executive of Comic Con India, said the collaboration creates a unique environment. "What makes Hyderabad Comic Con truly magical is how it brings every kind of fan under one roof," she said. "This year, by joining forces with DreamHack once again, we're taking that spirit to the next level."
Tickets for the DreamHack x Hyderabad Comic Con 2025 event are now available for purchase on the District App, as well as the official DreamHack and Comic Con India websites.
