Airoclip, the Bengaluru-based nascent AI-powered gaming studio, has gained a $2.75 million USD in a seed funding round. T-Accelerate Capital (TAC) led the funding round, supported by Centre Court Capital and Bitkraft Ventures. This capital injection will fund the company's push into personalized AI-based gaming content, data analytics, and design, along with scaling up its teams based on live operations and boosting its go-to-market efforts.
"By creating personalised, culturally relevant content, we can scale efficiently across global markets with experiences that truly resonate with players everywhere," said Pruthvi Sai Y, the co-founder of the company.
Adding to this, CEO Naga Rohith Anisetty said, "We’re not just building games - we’re crafting experiences that evolve with every player. We’re thrilled to partner with investors who share that vision and will help us bring it to life."
Early Popularity for Hexa Dreams
Airoclip has released two puzzle tiles named Tap Hexa and Hex Dreams, which have surpassed 300,000 installs across several markets, including the U.S. and Europe. The early user feedback of these games has been pretty remarkable, with Hexa Dreams reportedly bagging 4.9 stars on average in various Google Play Stores across markets.
Talking more about the game, Pruthvi Sai Y added that they intend to combine "strong game design principles" centered around AI-driven personalization and content generation, which enables "adaptive story integration." This approach, according to Pruthvi, is expected to "significantly enhance player engagement and unlock new revenue streams."
Investor Confidence & Market Positioning
The seed round shows that investor confidence is rising, with Carol Wong, Founding General Partner at TAC, noting Airoclip’s “sharp blend of analytical depth and creative ambition reflects the evolution of India’s gaming ecosystem.” She further added that this investment is a testament to the fact that new generation of studios are set to thrive globally.
However, there are some concerns, such as the recent restrictions on real-money gaming, which have obscured some aspects of the monetization system. Despite this, BITKRAFT and Centre Court Capital remain positive on the country's long-term gaming prospects, maintaining their commitment to back the Indian game studio.
This confidence originates from the studio's meticulous execution and clear global ambition. As Entrepreneur India reports, Mustafa Ghouse of Centre Court Capital stated that their trust and confidence in Airoclip’s vision is deeply “rooted in their sharp product intuition and a disciplined, capital‑efficient mindset.”
Resonating the same optimism, Anuj Tandon of BITKRAFT finds Airoclip to be representing “the new wave of ambitious gaming studios emerging from India with global potential and vision.” The collective conviction of these investors indicates that Indian developers are ready to engage with audiences worldwide.
Now with new funding and over 300,000 installations of their previous puzzle game, Airoclip is set to improve its technology. It also intends to grow its team and improve the user experience of its products. The studio's goal is to create excellent games appealing to global audiences. Their success might make Airoclip a poster child, propelling the company to the forefront of India's next-generation studios.
