The new headquarters will serve as EFG’s flagship esports venue and a base for recruiting Saudi professionals across broadcast production, content creation, event operations, and Arabic localization. EFG’s investment aligns with Saudi Arabia’s National Gaming and Esports Strategy, which targets 39K new jobs and SAR 50B ($13B) in GDP contribution by 2030. By producing Arabic-language content and training new talent, EFG plans to help build a sustainable esports infrastructure and foster local expertise across disciplines.

“Today marks an important moment not simply for EFG, but for the future of esports in Saudi Arabia,” said EFG CEO Niccolo Maisto, emphasizing the company’s commitment to growing regional competition and localized content.

Spanning over 1,000 square meters and hosting 500+ guests, the Riyadh site is equipped with 300 square meters of LED screens and full production capabilities. It will host major tournaments, including the ESL Saudi Challenge, and provide a community space for fans, creators, and professionals.

The new headquarters demonstrates Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become a global esports hub, combining infrastructure investment, talent development, and event hosting to drive sustained growth in the regional gaming industry.
