LEGO Ninjago to Launch New Comic Book in 2026

• LEGO Ninjago: Strike of the Serpentine to launch in 2026, marking the third official Ninjago graphic novel.

A fresh chapter will soon unfold in the LEGO Universe by February 2026, as publisher trio Skybound Entertainment, Image Comics and children’s-book specialist AMEET is set to release a graphic novel/comic book titled NINJAGO: Strike of the Serpentine. Set to be the third graphic novel in the LEGO Universe, it will follow the previous two releases LEGO NINJAGO: Garmadon and LEGO NINJAGO: Shatterspin. 

What is LEGO NINJAGO: Strike of the Serpentine All About?

LEGO NINJAGO: Strike of the Serpentine will delve into the origins of the Spinjitzu brothers, Wu and Garmadon. The brothers are currently Ninjago champions, despite frequently following different paths. 

Nevertheless, as the Serpentine clans threaten war, the brothers will have to bring together the Elemental Masters to confront the danger in a collective manner.

Speaking about the latest graphic novel in early 2025, Nachie Marsham, Senior Editor at Skybound, said, "Ninjago fans have always wanted a deeper dive into the Serpentine War, and STRIKE OF THE SERPENTINE is a bigger and bolder story than anything we've done before.” 

As per his statement, NINJAGO: Strike of the Serpentine is expected to have "more characters, more powers, more adventure,” and “it's gonna blow people away!" 

NINJAGO: Strike of the Serpentine will also involve Cameron Chittok (credits include Mapmakers, TMNT x Stranger Things) and Will Morris (Gospel). Speaking on their venture together, Chittok said in an earlier statement, released by Skybound, "Working on STRIKE OF THE SERPENTINE might be the most fun I've ever had playing with LEGO content, which is an incredibly high bar to clear!” 

Morris, additionally, said that he is hopeful that the adventure in the graphic novel/comic book would inspire “readers to imagine many more exploits for this merry band of heroes."   

LEGO NINJAGO: Strike of the Serpentine – Where Can One Find It?

LEGO NINJAGO: Strike of the Serpentine (SRP $16.99 USD) is expected to be available in comic shops between February 4 to March 3, 2026. An 8-page preview of it is already there on social media, and the complete issue is expected to have around 136 to 144 pages.

Since its launch in 2011, LEGO Ninjago has grown from building sets to a $123 million USD blockbuster and multiple series. The new comic book would add depth to the LEGOverse for both new and long-time fans, strengthening its transmedia power.
