Meanwhile, attention is also turning to Resident Evil Veronica. Gaming leaker @RinoTheBouncer claimed on Sept 7 that the game could be released in the second quarter (Q2) of 2027. The claim cites Team Biohazard, a community and news source covering survival horror franchises such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

Resident Evil Veronica Release Window Sparks Fan Debate
Capcom has confirmed Resident Evil Veronica for 2027 but has not announced a specific date. The leaked Q2 window would place the remake between April and June 2027 if accurate.
However, fan reactions largely centered on the remake’s release timing and physical edition. @Younweb3 said Code: Veronica “deserves a proper remake,” whereas @BlackCrownn95 asked for a physical version with the complete game on the disc.
@HeyYerald questioned why the game could not be released closer to the film, while @AnshSpidey12 said he would buy Veronica on day one regardless of the release month.
