KPop Demon Hunters Gets KAYOU Cards and Mattel’s Third Wave

KPop Demon Hunters is getting another wave of merchandise as KAYOU releases its Special Mini Edition trading cards and Mattel prepares its third series of 6-inch action figures. The developments add new ways for fans to collect characters from the Netflix animated film, which continues to draw attention more than a year after its release.

KAYOU's Special Mini Edition contains 41 possible cards divided across five rarity tiers. The collection is inspired by the Saja Boys, HUNTR/X, other characters, and the franchise's world concert tour. The cards are roughly half the size of KAYOU's standard trading cards and include performance, character, and franchise-themed artwork.

Each box contains four packs, with three cards per pack for 12 cards per box. Since there are 41 possible cards, individual boxes cannot provide the complete collection.

KPop Demon Hunters Mattel Third Wave: Release Date, Figures, and Price

KAYOU's cards are arriving alongside continued expansion of Mattel's KPop Demon Hunters action-figure range.

Netflix awarded Mattel the global license for the franchise's dolls and action figures in October 2025. The company has since released fashion dolls based on Mira, Rumi, Zoey, and Jinu, a deluxe 12-inch Rumi doll, and electronic singing versions of HUNTR/X.

Hasbro has also released role-playing toys and games, while Funko has produced figures through its Pop! brand.

Mattel's first 6-inch figure wave featured the HUNTR/X trio alongside Saja Boys members Jinu and Abby. It was accompanied by a Rumi and demon Jinu battle two-pack. Wave 2 subsequently added Saja Boys members Baby, Romance, and Mystery.

The third wave will release on Jan 1, 2027, with four new products:

• Mira in her What It Sounds Like outfit: Curved moon sword, two extra face plates, and two extra hands.
• Demon Romance: Two additional face plates and three extra hands.
• Demon Abby: Two additional face plates and four alternate hands.
• Derpy Tiger with Sussie: Additional accessories and Sussie as part of the figure.

The first three figures have between 18 and 21 articulation points and include stands and additional accessories. Derpy Tiger has considerably fewer articulation points than those figures. Each third-wave figure costs $21.99 and will be sold through online retailers and brick-and-mortar stores.
