Get your friendship bracelets ready, because Taylor Swift is set to deliver a landmark moment in streaming history. The 14-time GRAMMY-winning artist is bringing two brand-new projects to Disney+ on December 12, 2025: the exclusive debut of "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show" alongside a companion six-part docuseries, "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era." 

The announcement caps a year of unprecedented success for the global superstar, following the record-shattering launch of her latest album, "The Life of a Showgirl".

'Eras Tour' Final Show & Docuseries Get Exclusive Disney+ Premiere

Disney+ will be the exclusive home for the complete concert film of Swift’s final Eras Tour performance. Captured live in Vancouver, B.C., the film will exclusively feature the first-ever complete performance of her album "THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT".

Launching simultaneously is "The End of an Era", an illuminating 6-episode docuseries directed by Don Argott that chronicles the development, impact, and inner workings of the tour. The series will be released in instalments, with two new episodes dropping each week, promising a deep dive into how the global spectacle came to life. 

Confirming the news on Instagram, Swift shared the motivation behind the massive project. “It was the End of an Era, and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety,” she wrote.

The success that paved the way for this streaming event is staggering. The Eras Tour itself became a global juggernaut, becoming the highest-grossing tour in history after crossing the $2 billion threshold in ticket sales. 

Its first theatrical film in 2023 already made history, grossing over $261.7 million worldwide to become the highest-grossing concert movie ever, according to Box Office Mojo, and earning a rare "A+" CinemaScore from audiences.

For fans, the docuseries promises an intimate look at the community and creative force behind the tour. "The End of an Era" will not only highlight Swift's artistic process and life on the road but also feature appearances and stories from friends and collaborators who joined her, including Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch. 

This Disney+ event serves as a grand finale to a year Swift has utterly dominated. Her new album, "The Life of a Showgirl," shattered records by selling over 4 million album-equivalent units in its first week in the U.S. alone. 

The album also broke Spotify’s single-day streaming record, and in an unmatched display of popularity, every single one of its tracks occupied the top slots of the Billboard Hot 100.
