One Piece & Tendence collaborate for the fourth time to release a new line-up of watches.
Tendence and One Piece to Launch New Watch Collection in 2025
Tencent’s ten-model watch lineup combines high-end Swiss design, featuring One Piece, the most popular anime at the present time.
- Tendence will release ten new watches, each styled after each of One Piece’s Straw Hat members.
- Designs use the FLASH base with signature motifs and themed packaging.
- Global release planned for November last with select channels handling international orders.
Tendence and One Piece are preparing a brand-new range of watches for the fourth time in their long-standing partnership. The details of the new lineup are starting to surface amid the success of the manga and anime, with pre-orders secretly opening across a few channels and availability scheduled for later this month.
Tendence & Ten Characters of One Piece
Tendence's latest collab with One Piece will introduce ten watches depicting ten members of Luffy's original Straw Hat crew, including Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, Brook, and Jinbe.
These watches will have their own unique motifs. Reportedly, Zoro's version features dial hands based on his three swords, and Luffy's watch shows the scar on his chest.
Sanji's watch apparently has dial hands that are inspired by his eyebrows, along with flames from his “Diable Jambe” strike, while Usopp's version is based on his slingshot. Lastly, Nami's watch has a compass at the center and also features her iconic arm tattoo.
Every watch will also bear the characters' Straw Hat symbols, with Luffy's being the main version, displaying a Jolly Roger wearing a straw hat.
Previous One Piece Collections by Tendence
Tendence and One Piece began their collaboration way back in 2018, with their KingDome collection. It depicted a big, curved dome-shaped crystal resembling the Log Pose used by navigators in One Piece, making the first volume an immediate collector's item.
The collaboration continued in 2019, with a new series based on the Tendence FLASH model to commemorate One Piece's 20th anniversary. This version presented a more narrative-driven design approach by incorporating subliminal messages that represented the Straw Hat Pirates' journey thus far.
A third collaboration took place in 2022, coinciding with the manga's 25th anniversary and the release of One Piece FILM RED. Two models were released at that time, a Shanks Red model in honor of the Red-Haired Pirates, and another Luffy model with a 3D character on the dial and index colors inspired by Straw Hats. Only 300 of the Luffy models were made, and each watch came with a unique notebook, giving the series an additional collectible.
One Piece x Tendence: What More Can We Expect?
Tendence will use its FLASH series base again in this lineup, which has an integrated LED lighting system, in all of its versions. Users can switch between seven different hues or turn on a "rainbow mode" that switches between them all. The translucent nylon cover and 3D indices let the light shine out, highlighting its distinctive style. To further emphasize the pirate aesthetic, each watch comes in a character–themed box and a cleaning cloth inspired by the One Piece "Wanted" posters.
The cost of each watch in the Tendence x One Piece collection is 45,100 yen (~ $300 USD), including tax. Preorders are available through Tendence's main online store, while channels like Hobby Genki, Japan-Select will oversee the international orders. The watches are expected to launch globally on November 28, 2025, while One Piece is gearing up for newer arcs, a revamped reboot, and a live-action series.
