The FIFAe Finals 2026 will take place at Jeddah’s Abadi Al Johar Arena from Oct 16-25, 2026, marking the competition’s first visit to the Saudi Arabian city. The event will conclude a qualification campaign involving more than 120 nations and crown three world champions across eFootball Console, eFootball Mobile, and Rocket League.
FIFAe Finals 2026 Schedule and Teams
The finals will feature 12 national teams in each eFootball competition and 16 in Rocket League. The eFootball competition will open from Oct 16-18, followed by Rocket League from Oct 20-21, before Champions Weekend concludes the event from Oct 23-25.
The road to Jeddah has included five in-person FIFAe continental championships in Malaysia, Morocco, Brazil, Mexico, and Portugal. Ongoing continental events will determine which nations represent each region.
The competition draws will take place after the championships conclude.
FIFAe Adds Champions Weekend for 2026
A new Champions Weekend will run from Oct 23-25, bringing the decisive matches from the three competitions into the event’s closing stage. FIFA reported that the format is intended to bring fans closer to the season’s most important matches as the participating nations compete for the FIFAe World Cup trophies.
The tournament will build on the infrastructure established by the Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) over recent years. FIFA confirmed that further details about programming and tickets will be announced in the coming weeks, making the Jeddah finals the culmination of its largest nation-based football esports season to date.
The Jeddah finals come as Saudi Arabia expands its role in the global gaming industry, following the PIF-led consortium’s reported $55B USD acquisition of EA. The move further highlights the growing convergence of football, esports, and gaming in the region.
