Swedish developer Embark Studios’ extraction-shooter ARC Raiders has sold more than 14M copies worldwide since its launch on Oct 30, 2025. The figure, released in Nexon’s latest Investors Presentations on Feb 12, 2026, shows 2M more downloads after the company recorded 12M downloads by January.
In January 2026, the game also reached a peak of approximately 960K concurrent players across platforms, underlining sustained engagement months after its October debut. Nexon also informed that ARC Raiders has averaged roughly six million weekly active users to date.
Arc Raiders’ performance has led Nexon to describe the title as having “significantly exceeded” internal expectations across multiple global markets, including Japan, North America, and Europe. The title’s performance through the fourth-quarter (Q4) of 2025 only reaffirmed Nexon’s previous statement that it is “the most successful global launch in Nexon's history.”
Arc Raiders’ Sustained Engagement Contributing to Nexon FY2025 Revenue
Arc Raiders has “sustained top-ranking spots on Steam’s Top Sellers list as well as PlayStation and Xbox,” wrote the South Korean publisher in its Investors Presentations Q4 2025. The presentation also highlighted the title’s contribution to driving Nexon’s revenue in 2025.
Nexon
For the Fiscal Year 2025, Nexon recorded a revenue of ¥475.1 billion ($3.1B). The company attributed this growth to its flagship franchises such as MapleStory, and Arc Raiders. The title generated ¥27.7B (~$4B) in deferred revenue and also contributed in driving horizontal revenue.
Considering the performance, Nexon expects “another Y/Y (year-on-year) revenue growth” in the first-quarter of 2026. The developer, Embark Studios, also continues to roll out content updates to sustain this momentum. They launched a new Beta in China in November 2025, which is live now.
ARC Raiders, developed on Unreal Engine 5, was a cross-platform launch across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox systems. From Day 1, the shooter title showed remarkable engagement, generating an estimate of over $100M in revenue within a week after its launch. The title crossed 6.5M copies in sales by Dec 1, 2025.
