Highlights

  • Embark Studios’ ARC Raiders has become Nexon’s most successful global launch, crossing 6.5M copies in sales and hitting a peak of 418K concurrent Steam players even after its first month.
  • The game maintains exceptional post-launch engagement, ranking among Steam’s top-selling and most-wishlisted titles.
  • Strong live-service execution and fast content updates have fueled long-term momentum, helping ARC Raiders surpass $200M in revenue and reinforcing demand for premium extraction-style shooters.

A month after the launch, Embark Studios’ ARC Raiders recorded a Steam concurrent peak of 418,520 players, marking a notable milestone for the brand-new extraction shooter. The game launched globally on PC (Steam) and consoles on Oct. 30, 2025, and created a milestone after hitting 700K concurrent players within its first ten days.

Behind the headline figure lies sustained momentum. According to Nexon, ARC Raiders became the company’s “most successful global launch,” after selling over 4M copies worldwide within the first ten days. Currently, the title stands at a roughly 6.5M sales figure, as per Video Games Insight.

ARC Raiders’ early commercial success reflects sustained engagement across platforms. According to SteamDB, the title has logged 339,228 followers and amassed approximately 198,354 player reviews, of which roughly 90% are positive. In a crowded shooter market dominated by heavyweight franchises, ARC Raiders’ post-launch momentum points to a growing appetite for well-made extraction-style gameplay.

Reception and Sales Momentum

A month after its release, Arc Raiders still dominates Steam charts as the third most sold title and the second most wishlisted title amidst heavyweight titles such as Battlefield 6. The game is trailing behind Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), which is reportedly the second-best seller on the list.

The game observed a steady momentum on Steam. According to early data (Nov. 2), the game peaked at 354,836 players on Steam alone, and within a week, it saw a 30% increase in player numbers. Even though it recorded a momentary decline after Nov. 16, the title still sustained 27% more engagement than its first peak concurrent player count.

With a 481,966 all-time peak, Arc Raiders has had higher daily player activity than Battlefield 6 consistently since its debut, according to GameRant. The shooter title has recorded an average of 367K daily players, whereas Battlefield 6's daily average is around 220K.

Not only did Arc Raiders sustain its post-launch momentum, but it also reportedly grossed over $200M in revenue. The success builds on Embark Studios’ early response to feedback, live-service structure, and installation of new quests and patch updates to keep the game’s popularity among players.

The studios’ willingness to address critical issues, coupled with early positive reception, appears to have helped maintain interest beyond the initial surge, even amidst AI controversy.
