Highlights

  • JetSynthesys and MIXI enter a new agreement focused on India’s digital entertainment sector.
  • The MOU brings together expertise from the Indian and Japanese gaming markets.
  • The collaboration builds on MIXI’s growing presence and activities in India.

JetSynthesys and Japanese digital entertainment company MIXI, Inc. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore opportunities across esports, gaming, digital entertainment, and marketing in India. The agreement covers potential work in game development and publishing, esports, market intelligence, user acquisition, business development, and strategic investments.

The MOU does not confirm a specific investment, game, or joint venture. Instead, both companies will evaluate potential business opportunities and other areas agreed upon by the parties.

Chairman of JetSynthesys, Rajan Navani, stated that the partnership brings together “complementary strengths from India and Japan.” He added that it opens “new possibilities across video gaming and digital entertainment,” with the potential to create experiences for audiences globally.

JetSynthesys and MIXI Target Indian Gaming Opportunities

The companies will combine JetSynthesys' understanding of India's digital market with MIXI's experience in gaming and entertainment. The scope also includes marketing initiatives and other digital entertainment activities.

Senior Corporate Officer at MIXI, Sadaaki Kaneyoshi, said the company looks forward to broadening its grasp of the market and exploring “potential opportunities across gaming and digital entertainment.”

Likewise, Ryo Shima, CEO of JetSynthesys Japan, said the agreement reflects growing interest in India as a gaming market. He also noted that companies are increasingly looking for partners to navigate its “scale, diversity and opportunity.”

How Does MIXI’s India Activity Fit the MOU?

JetSynthesys operates across music, video gaming, esports, entertainment content, and live experiences, focusing on IP and creator-led digital entertainment. Its gaming business also includes the Global e-Cricket Premier League (GEPL), which it built around Real Cricket, as a franchise league. KRAFTON acquired a controlling stake in Nautilus Mobile, the developer of Real Cricket, in 2025, while GEPL remained with JetSynthesys.

MIXI develops services and entertainment properties, including mixi, FamilyAlbum, MONSTER STRIKE, and TIPSTAR, guided by its stated purpose of strengthening communication and creating shared experiences.

The MOU also adds to MIXI's existing India activity.

The company began full-scale operations for STRIKE WORLD, the global version of MONSTER STRIKE, in India in April 2026 after a February soft launch. MIXI Global Investments has also identified India as a major investment market, while its LVLZero program supports game incubation with Indian partners.

The agreement gives both companies room to assess opportunities spanning partnerships, products, and investment without committing to a specific commercial project.
