Highlights

  • The Indian startup secured $19.1M in Series A funding led by Northpoint Capital.
  • Liquidnitro’s AI-first model combines content creation, player engagement, and live-service optimization for global publishers.
  • The funding would support Liquidnitro’s expansion into India, MENA, and Southeast Asia, product development, and recruitment drive.

Hyderabad-based Liquidnitro Games has raised $19.1 million USD in a Series A funding round led by U.S. investment firm Northpoint Capital, with continued backing from its previous investor, Nexus Venture Partners. According to reports circulating in mid-January 2026, the capital will be used to scale the company’s AI-enabled game production and live services platform, and expand its global partnerships.

With the new funding, Liquidnitro aims to expand into emerging high-growth markets, including India, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Southeast Asia. Founded in December 2023 with former Electronic Arts veterans at the helm, Liquidnitro positions itself as a production and live services partner for major game publishers.

CEO Sandeep Kowdley described the funding as a validation of the company’s strategy, saying that by combining “over a decade of experience running some of the world’s biggest franchises, deep investments in our proprietary AI-powered platform, and capital we can deploy alongside partners, we’ve built a uniquely compelling value proposition for publishers navigating an increasingly challenging market.”

Despite being new in the market, the company boasts a proven track record of combining AI-driven services with operational expertise and aligned capital co-investment to support long-term live-service performance for global gaming publishers.

Liquidnitro’s AI-First Model and Growing Investor Confidence

The company’s leadership team brings deep experience in running live services for globally recognized franchises with members such as Sandeep Kowdley, producer Arun Kunchala, CFO Krishna Dhanekula, and senior development director Suresh Manthena. Liquidnitro’s integrated model aims to help partners achieve maximum profitability through AI-driven content production, enhanced player engagement, and scalable operations across geographies.

CPO Arun Kunchala added that Liquidnitro aims to disrupt traditional live services with its AI system, designed to power “the next generation of games — unlocking deeper, richer, and more personalized experiences that players want to come back to.”

The platform helps publishers build and co-produce titles, manage live operations, and adapt gameplay systems and content based on player behaviour in diverse regions. They aim to dedicate the new funding towards company expansion, product development pipeline, and new employee sourcing.

The Series A funding follows a $5.25M seed round in 2024 led by Nexus Venture Partners, demonstrating sustained investor confidence in the startup’s vision and execution. Sameer Brij Verma, Founder and CIO of Northpoint Capital, said the startup is “quietly becoming the go-to AI-powered production, live services, and TAM (total addressable market) expansion partner for the world’s leading game publishers,” highlighting Liquidnitro’s “execution and trustworthiness.”

Liquidnitro Games’ $19.1M funding also underscores a broader industry shift toward AI-augmented production and live service optimization as global publishers seek to reduce cost and increase operational efficiency.  It also marks a significant moment for India’s rapidly growing gaming sector, which is in need of external investors to scale among the rising gaming market of Southeast Asia.
