Washington-based technology conglomerate Microsoft Corporation has signaled the possibility of integrating new AI features for its video gaming platform, Xbox. Microsoft recently rolled out a survey asking Xbox users about the "AI features and capabilities" they would want in Xbox Game Pass.
The feedback survey was pointed out by Redditor @petrus1312, causing a widespread discussion over whether Xbox Game Pass could get AI integration in the future. Microsoft is already expanding its AI footprint in gaming through Xbox Gaming Copilot, launched in Sep. 2025. The feature provides real-time gameplay assistance for finishing the game.
Currently, the new survey presents five potential features, even though Microsoft hasn’t declared anything officially. It suggests the integration of in-game assistance (tips or walkthroughs), post-game performance analysis, voice interaction via an AI assistant, personalized game recommendations, and game/account insights such as achievements and status.
