Sony has officially unveiled its PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for August 2026, delivering a massive month of critically acclaimed titles for Extra and Premium tier subscribers. Stuffed with a robust mix of cooperative shooters, immersive historical role-playing, and addictive indie action, the highly anticipated roster is headlined by three major heavy hitters: Helldivers 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and the viral hit Vampire Survivors.
While players can enlist to protect Super Earth in Helldivers 2 starting Aug 12, the rollout of the rest of the catalog will be staggered throughout the month. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Vampire Survivors are scheduled to hit the service on Aug 18. The rest of the modern lineup, which includes heavy-hitters like Dying Light 2 and Metro Exodus, will be available for players to download on Aug 25.
For the nostalgia seekers, PlayStation Plus Premium members are also getting a treat. Two retro classics are joining the Premium-exclusive Classics Catalog, bringing some serious PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2 era magic back to modern consoles. Every game in the catalog will be available for both Extra and Premium subscribers, with the exception of the two retro additions, which are locked to the Premium tier.
