- Jin's record-breaking Spotify success creates the commercial momentum, paving the way for BTS' long-awaited reunion.
- This milestone swiftly follows the group's joint departure from Dubai, marking the start of their synchronized comeback phase.
- BTS solo endeavors culminates into the Arirang Era with a new album, global tour, Seoul performance, and Netflix documentary.
BTS member Jin's solo track Don't Say You Love Me has now received over 800 million Spotify streams, cementing his global solo impact ahead of the group's reunion in 2026. The song also helped the singer gain over 10M followers on the network, a rare accomplishment for a solo K-pop artist.
The R&B-tinged pop ballad, which was released as the lead single from Jin's second solo EP Echo on May 16, 2025, peaked at No. 1 on Spotify's Top Songs Global Chart in 2025 and previously appeared on the Billboard Hot 100. Echo entered at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, with its seven tracks totaling more than 1.1 billion Spotify streams.
BTS Touches Down in Dubai
In addition to Jin's solo success, all seven BTS members (Jin, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) were seen leaving Incheon Airport for the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E/Dubai) on Feb 2, 2026. Their appearance sparked widespread speculation about this visit amongst fans, as the septet is traveling together for the first time after finishing South Korea's obligatory military service.
Big Hit Music and HYBE have not stated the objective of their Dubai trip publicly, but industry experts speculate that it could be anything from a private event to brand collaborations. BTS’ Dubai visit also comes ahead of their first group album in more than three years, Arirang, which is set to be released on March 20, 2026, therefore raising eyebrows about some promotional activity related to it.
Tied to the album’s release, BTS will begin touring worldwide, with 82 shows in 34 cities. Running from April 9, 2026, to March 2027, the BTS Arirang World Tour will be their largest tour to date. In light of this surprise visit, Dubai fans may also expect an early glimpse of their favorite idols. Apart from the given tour schedule, more dates for Dubai and Japan are set to be announced.
The Seoul Show & Netflix Documentary will Officially Flag Off BTS' Arirang Era
BTS will also be performing live at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, officially kicking off their Arirang Era. This performance will be streamed globally through Netflix on March 21, accompanied by a documentary, BTS: The Return, giving exclusive behind-the-scenes content and a peek into their thought process during the hiatus period. The group's coordinated actions, which range from solo milestones to an integrated promotional arc and a global tour, highlight BTS' return as a unified worldwide force.
