South Korean supergroup BTS shattered attendance records at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this week, bringing in a total crowd of 130,000 fans across two sold-out nights. The BTS ARIRANG World Tour shows in London mark a definitive milestone, indicating the band's sustained market power since their first UK performances in almost seven years.

BTS London Concert: ARIRANG World Tour Packs Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

According to global promoter Live Nation, the BTS London 2026 concerts on July 6 and July 7, 2026, each drew about 65,000 attendees. Tottenham’s turnout represents the highest per-show concert attendance since the venue’s inaugural in 2019. The same year the HYBE act headlined its debut as the first K-pop artist to perform in UK’s Wembley Stadium. As per local reports, there was an overwhelming demand for BTS London tickets, which saw both dates sell out immediately upon release.

As BTS returned to London after years, music industry stakeholders and pop culture analysts deemed the show to be reaffirming K-pop's endurance, attendance power, and economic impact in the global live entertainment sector. The European leg of the BTS World Tour 2026 depicts a highly evolved stadium-scale production and a performance setlist that balances nostalgia with fresh concepts. The group performed several of their songs from ARIRANG live, like Hooligan, Normal, and Swim, alongside their old hits like Idol (2018), Fake Love (2018), and Fire (2016).

From Wembley Stadium 2019 to Tottenham London 2026: BTS' Record-Breaking UK Return

The group thanked the fans’ “passion” in a statement cited by The Korea Times. They said that they had “an incredible time” at the Tottenham Stadium, further adding that they were reminded of the emotions they felt at Wembley Stadium years ago.

The 2019 Wembley concert was best known for BTS fans, globally known as ARMYs, singing back the song Young Forever (2016) to the group as a fan tribute, on Day 2 of their show run. The moment quickly went viral on social media, where the members were seen to be emotional on stage. The 2019 shows took place on June 1 and June 2, moving about 114,583 total tickets while grossing $13,545,701 USD, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.

Wembley’s then senior commercial manager, James Taylor, emphasized this rare impact caused by BTS, across multiple industry publications. In an old interview with Pollstar in 2019, he said, “The engagement [BTS fans] had with our staff and social channels was something we have never seen before,” thus showcasing a unique participatory scale that fundamentally changed the venue-audience dynamics.

Taylor later confirmed the same to Music Week the same year, adding that digital traffic went “through the roof,” which translated directly into physical commerce, ultimately breaking the stadium's all-time records for merchandise sales.

BTS Europe Tour Heads to Munich After Historic London Shows

The London concert came to a full circle as BTS performed Young Forever for ARMYs, recreating the unforgettable 2019 Wembley moment. This marked a powerful yet poignant chapter in the BTS Europe tour schedule held so far.

According to many industry stakeholders, the group is currently the largest touring band in K-pop history. The global concert tour was originally launched this year in April in Goyang, South Korea, before moving to North and South Americas and Europe for performances. Set to take place this weekend, fans are now gearing up for the highly anticipated BTS Munich concert dates on July 11 and July 12, 2026, which will be held at the Allianz Arena.
