Highlights

  • BTS is expanding the ARIRANG era with a major visual release timed around FESTA celebrations.
  • The comeback rollout continues to build momentum via a steady stream of new content and fan-focused events.
  • Experts project that the group's world tour, which is also a part of their long-term promotion strategy, will keep ARIRANG in the spotlight for a significant period of time.

K-pop powerhouse BTS will be releasing an exclusive music video for their track Merry Go Round on June 19, 2026, at 06:00 pm KST, marking the next chapter of their latest global rollout, ARIRANG. According to Spotify’s social media post, the video will premiere exclusively on the music streaming platform, acting as the centerpiece for its current promotional campaign designed to support the seven-member band's return.

Spotify BTS Merry Go Round Music Video Release Date and Other Details

The streaming platform confirmed the upcoming video release on June 11, 2026 (Thursday), further noting that a series of additional teasers will be unveiled ahead of its official premiere. In an official press statement from Spotify cited by media outlet ABS CBN, the streaming service said that the music video will take “the global audience deeper into the universe BTS has built in the song, serving as a visual representation of life’s endlessly recurring cycles.”

The mid-June release seems to be strategically timed to coincide with the group’s debut anniversary celebration named FESTA, which is held every year in the same month. As this year marks the group's 13th anniversary in the music industry, BTS is also set to release a new track named Come Over, which was only initially available on the deluxe vinyl edition of ARIRANG. As for Spotify, this exclusive content is coming after it recently collaborated with the band for the SWIMSIDE event.

BTS ARIRANG Era is Fueled by Strategic Global Media Push and World Tour

A concentrated media rollout like this, spreads their comeback across multiple touchpoints including reunion livestreams, magazine features, FESTA content, documentaries, social platforms, fan-focused events, and carefully timed interviews. Launched on March 20, ARIRANG is the first full-group release from BTS in almost four years, which ended a prolonged hiatus in group activities owing to the members’ mandatory military service. The group’s project quickly affirmed their sustained market power when it topped various US and global Billboard charts like the Billboard 200. According to market observers, the album’s commercial lifespan will extend well into the coming year, boosted by their massive world tour, which is officially scheduled until mid 2027.
