According to CNA Lifestyle, the June 3 Weverse membership presale at 12 PM (possibly domestic time) saw waiting lines rapidly move past 28,000. This intense demand tied to BTS instantly drove a predatory secondary market. Within an hour of the presales opening, The Star reported forty listings on X and Carousell. BTS ticket resale price for VIP seating surged up to S$1,200 from its actual price of S$388, while the S$328 Category 1 tickets commanded a marked up price of S$1,000. Nevertheless, this rapid arbitrage ignited an instant regulatory pushback.
