BTS shared the full tracklist for ARIRANG on Tuesday, March 3, through their official accounts on Instagram and Weverse. The black, white, and red graphic confirmed 14 songs across the album, their fifth studio effort and the group's first full-band album in six years. The album drops on March 20, 2026, under BigHit Music.
The record is named after the traditional Korean folk song "Arirang," inscribed on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list, a piece long associated with longing, separation, and reunion. BTS had earlier said the title matched where they are now after nearly four years apart, with each member completing mandatory military service and pursuing solo work. The album details, including member-specific vinyl editions, were first confirmed in January.

In the tracklist graphic, 13 of the 14 titles appear against red strips. Track seven, SWIM, is set against black, and the hashtag #BTS_SWIM was included in the Instagram caption. BigHit Music later confirmed that SWIM is the title track. The album closes with Into the Sun, which multiple sources describe as the record's anthemic final statement.
Lead single SWIM and track highlights
The production credits read like a who's who of contemporary pop and electronic music. Diplo, Kevin Parker (Tame Impala), Mike WiLL Made-It, Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic), Flume, El Guincho, JPEGMAFIA, and Teezo Touchdown all appear across different tracks. SWIM was produced by Tyler Spry and Leclair, with writing credits shared between James Essien, Sean Foreman, Ryan Tedder, RM, and Pdogg, among others.
All seven members hold songwriting credits on the album. RM wrote on every track except the interlude No. 29. SUGA and j-hope are credited on Body to Body, Merry Go Round, and NORMAL. Jimin contributed to they don't know 'bout us and Into the Sun. V worked on 2.0 and Into the Sun, and Jung Kook co-wrote four songs, including Hooligan. Kevin Parker produced Merry Go Round alongside Sam Homaee and Sarah Aarons. Mike WiLL Made-It handled 2.0 with Pluss, while Diplo produced Like Animals with Artemas Diamandis.
The range of producers and the fact that the members wrote across nearly every track suggests a record that's both outward-looking in its sound and personal in its voice. BTS described their approach as "hands-on," a shift from earlier records where external writers carried larger portions of the tracklist.
Comeback trailer release date and details
Hours after the tracklist reveal, Netflix posted a teaser for BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, the group's live concert event scheduled for March 21 at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. The teaser showed all seven members together, with Dynamite playing in the background. Netflix confirmed the full comeback concert trailer will drop on March 5.
The concert, directed by Hamish Hamilton, will stream live on Netflix globally. Six days later, on March 27, a documentary titled BTS: The Return, directed by Bao Nguyen, will premiere on the platform. The film follows the group's post-hiatus reunion and the making of ARIRANG.
The ARIRANG World Tour kicks off on April 9 with three shows at Goyang Sports Complex near Seoul. U.S. dates begin in Tampa, Florida, in late April and run through September in California. The tour spans 34 regions with 82 shows across five continents through 2027. Financial analysts at IBK Investment & Securities and Heungkuk Securities project the tour could generate $1.87 billion in revenue, which would bring it within range of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. A separate live viewing program will broadcast the Goyang and Tokyo shows across 3,800 cinemas in 80 territories starting in April.
The compressed rollout, from album on March 20 to concert stream on March 21 to documentary on March 27 to the tour on April 9, is designed so each format feeds a different audience segment without cannibalising the others. For HYBE, which has faced a rough stretch financially after a 200 billion won write-down in recent years, the commercial stakes on ARIRANG's performance are hard to overstate.
ARIRANG is available for pre-save on Spotify and pre-order through the official BTS store. The digital album is priced at $15.99.
