  • The Sin: Vanish sold over 2M sales in week one, marking ENHYPEN’s fourth double-million album.
  • The EP sold 1.6M copies on day one and topped Japan’s Oricon Daily and global iTunes Albums chart.
  • ENHYPEN’s vampire-themed narrative continues to drive strong fan engagement.

ENHYPEN’s seventh mini-album, The Sin: Vanish, sold over 2 million copies in its first week, noted the Hanteo Chart, an album sales tracker. This huge milestone cements the group's commercial success at the very beginning of 2026. Several Korean media outlets noted that data from chart information and comments from Belift Lab, a HYBE subsidiary, ENHYPEN’s EP sold 2,075,056 units between Jan 16 and 22, making it the group's fourth "double million-seller" release.

Orange Blood, Romance: Untold and Desire: Unleash Built ENHYPEN’s Streak

ENHYPEN, which includes Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki, originally reached the double-million mark with Orange Blood (2023). The group has since repeated the act with their ventures Romance: Untold (2024) and Desire: Unleash (2025). Notably, Romance: Untold has also surpassed the 3M mark in 2025, based on Circle Chart data.

Romance: Untold reportedly recorded 1.88M copies on its release date while selling 2,344,749 copies in its first week. According to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), Romance: Untold was the best-selling K-pop album and second overall worldwide of 2024, recording 3.4M pure sales.

In comparison, The Sin: Vanish also had a lightning-fast launch. It sold more than 1.6M copies on its first day, a rate of success that remains unmatched by any K-pop release in this year. The EP’s popularity spread beyond Korea. The Sin: Vanish debuted at No. 1 on Japan's Oricon Daily Album Ranking on the same day it was released. The Japanese rankings of The Sin: Vanish marked ENHYPEN’s 13th successful album in the country, reflecting its high popularity in the region. The album also took the top position in the global iTunes Top Albums chart.

The Sin: Vanish Extends ENHYPEN’s Vampire-led Strategy

According to industry analysts, the group's intricately woven vampire-themed narrative universe, which combines music, images, and digital experiences, is a crucial engagement engine that converts fan loyalty into great physical album sales. As noted by The Chosun Daily, this conceptual immersion has also extended to real-world fan activities such as a themed blood donation drive inspired by the group's storyline.

In a market where streaming rules the charts worldwide, ENHYPEN's willingness to initiate a collectible physical sales drive and ability to create narrative engagement exemplifies a long-term strategy for K-pop's top acts to promote revenue and fan engagement.
