A Naruto-themed attraction is coming to southern France, marking the first major anime park expansion in Europe outside Japan.
Parc Spirou Provence will debut "NARUTO — Konoha Land" in 2026, a 1.5-hectare recreation of the Hidden Leaf Village from the popular manga and anime series. The announcement represents a significant milestone in anime's growing influence on European entertainment infrastructure.
What Will the New Naruto Theme Park in France Include?
The centerpiece attraction, Kyūbi Unchained, is a roller coaster spanning over 700 meters with sections designed in reverse to evoke the Nine-Tails fox demon's chaotic energy. The ride reaches speeds of 75 kilometers per hour and includes a 30-meter drop.
A second major attraction, Rasengan Chakra Rotation, offers an interactive gondola experience for 32 riders simultaneously, designed to simulate protagonist Naruto Uzumaki's training sequences with his mentor Jiraiya.

The park's design incorporates recognizable locations from the franchise, including the Konoha Gate entrance, Chunin Exam arena, and Hokage Rock monument featuring carved likenesses of the village's leaders. Life-sized character statues will be positioned throughout the grounds.
Additional themed zones include a replica of Ichiraku Ramen, the protagonist's favorite restaurant, and Team Kakashi's training grounds featuring three wooden posts central to early story arcs.

Média-Participations, the entertainment conglomerate that owns Parc Spirou Provence, is developing the attraction. The company has published Naruto in France for two decades through its manga subsidiary Kana and operates multiple theme parks across Europe.
A company representative characterized Konoha Land as both entertainment venture and cultural landmark, citing creator Masashi Kishimoto's influence on a generation of French audiences.
The 2026 opening positions the park as Europe's most substantial anime-themed attraction, potentially establishing a template for similar theme park developments as Japanese intellectual properties expand their physical presence in Western markets.
