Highlights

  • Jungkook's emotional rendition of the Harry Styles hit achieved a major new YouTube milestone.
  • The cover's impact extends beyond fan support, drawing praise from one of the music industry's leading voices, Billboard.
  • The achievement cements Jungkook's already impressive digital track record as his solo catalog keeps creating new records.

BTS member Jungkook recently made another achievement with his cover of Harry Styles' emotional ballad Falling. As reported by Billboard Korea, the song crossed 100 million views on YouTube on June 18, 2026. The audio-only video, was uploaded on BTS' official YouTube channel (BANGTANTV) in October 2021, has amassed over 4.3M likes, making it one of the most successful cover performances on the platform. The achievement highlights the remarkable fan engagement and endurance, where listeners continue to revisit the rendition nearly five years after it was first released.

Billboard Previously Recognized the Cover

Apart from the fans, Jungkook’s interpretation of Falling by Harry Styles received critical recognition from top entities. Notably, Billboard had earlier included his version of the song in its “Most Memorable Harry Styles Covers” list for two consecutive years (2023 and 2022), where the institution praised the unique vocal delivery and the emotional depth Jungkook brought to the song. Industry stakeholders, including fans, regard this cover as one of his finest unofficial releases.

Originally released by former One Direction member Harry Styles, the song Falling, was a part of his 2019 album Fine Line. The song became one of the singer-songwriter's signature piano ballads. When Jungkook covered the track in October 2021, his stripped-back approach showcased his softer vocal tone, for which he gained massive acclaim.

Eight Solo Videos now Above 100 Million Views

With Falling joining the list, Jungkook now has eight YouTube audio videos in total that have surpassed the 100M-view mark. According to Korean media, the milestone list includes:

  • Euphoria: 157M views
  • Seven (Explicit Version): 153M views
  • Standing Next to You (Audio): 120M views
  • Still With You: 120M views
  • Seven (Clean Version): 100M views
  • 3D (Audio): 100M views
  • Dreamers: 100M views
  • Falling (Harry Styles cover): 100M views

Whereas his solo tracks, which also include official music videos, continue to garner even higher numbers, further solidifying Jungkook's status as one of K-pop's strongvest digital performaers. The list currently includes three songs:

  • Seven (Official MV): 617M views
  • 3D (Official MV): 284M views
  • Standing Next to You (Official MV): 228M views

This latest achievement proves a sustained global demand for Jungkook's solo work, depicting that even an audio-only cover can create strong viewership years after release. As BTS continues its group activities with ARIRANG, Jungkook’s solo catalog success shows how demand for BTS members’ individual projects persistently attracts new listeners alongside longtime fans (ARMY). With such popularity, Jungkook has officially sealed his status as one of the most influential vocalists of his generation.
