Highlights

  • BigHit Music's latest Weverse announcement pushes the BTS World Tour ARIRANG to a record 88 shows, with Indonesia and the Philippines gaining more dates.
  • Despite an expanded BTS Asia tour, India remains absent from the official BTS ARIRANG tour schedule, leaving the Indian BTS ARMY searching for answers.
  • As the BTS concert tickets sell out worldwide, Indian fans are increasingly planning overseas trips around the BTS tour dates 2026.

As BTS World Tour ARIRANG expands globally into a rare stadium sprint, one of the world’s largest entertainment markets remains surprisingly absent. A recent BTS Weverse announcement from BigHit Music confirmed that a third night is being added to the BTS Jakarta concert 2026 on December 29.

Additionally, stops are also being added to the BTS Philippines concert 2027 in Bulacan on March 16. As reported by The Korea Times, these increases in show numbers have expanded the BTS concert schedule to a historic 88 performances.

Yet, even as BTS adds tour dates globally in Europe and the Americas, the official BTS ARIRANG tour schedule continues to bypass India, igniting frustration among the local BTS ARMY. With new dates added to the broader BTS Asia tour, Indian fans note a persistent structural divide within the tour routes.

BTS Tour Dates 2026 Skips India Again

The world’s most populous nation, which has yet to secure a single date on the BTS tour dates 2026 itinerary, is still hoping that newer dates in 2027 will include India. Earlier, around 2020 to 2021, a planned Mumbai stop had to be canceled due to the pandemic. Interestingly, many fans from the country are aligning their foreign plans with the BTS concert schedule and are traveling to countries like Thailand and Indonesia to experience the concert live. Notably, Thailand is one of the most common nations that Indians visit for a foreign trip. As noted by Nikkei Asia, Thailand received 2.48 million Indian visitors in 2025, the third most from any country after China and Malaysia.

BTS World Tour Expansion Hits 88 Shows

The sheer scale of the BTS World Tour 2026 depicts the commercial stakes. HYBE recently wrapped a two-day BTS Busan concert with an estimated audience of 110,000 people. Additionally, the upcoming BTS Europe tour 2026 is also unavailable as promoters confirm that the BTS concert tickets in Europe sold out instantly. To maximize profits, organizers reshaped global logistics and rushed dates from Las Vegas to Melbourne. Following this momentum, they added the BTS Bulacan concert and released high-demand BTS Jakarta tickets.

BTS Stadium Tour Stays Selective?

While management notes this is the largest single BTS K-pop world tour ever mounted, its expansion remains tightly controlled. Future legs are expected for Japan and the Middle East, but the continued exclusion of some of the countries in South Asia depicts a lingering infrastructural hesitation from major labels. Unless corporate logistics align with local demand, Indian fans can only watch from the sidelines as this historic BTS stadium tour rewrites industry records.
