KATSEYE Beautiful Chaos Billboard 200 run fueled by Gnarly and Gabriela
KATSEYE’s year-long Beautiful Chaos Billboard success is best defined by their songs Gnarly and Gabriela. While the EP initially debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, KATSEYE’s Gnarly, which ranked No. 82 on the Billboard Hot 100, first bolstered its popularity. The momentum was further carried by Gabriela’s chart performance; notably, the song also peaked at the Hot 100 chart at an even better ranking of No. 21. Backed by the twin success, KATSEYE’s Spotify monthly listeners count reached over 32 million, reportedly marking the highest figure for any girl group in the world.
KATSEYE Grammy Awards, AMAs success cements breakout year
The group’s successful chart numbers have generated widespread industry validation for themselves. At the 2026 Grammy Awards, KATSEYE earned nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, alongside a high-profile performance debut. The group then went on to sweep more honors at the American Music Awards, winning New Artist of the Year and Breakthrough Pop Artist, while also winning a double crown at the Japan Gold Disc Awards and picking up multiple iHeartRadio Music Awards nominations.
KATSEYE comeback begins with Wild EP as fans await new era
At the moment, a major late-summer KATSEYE comeback has placed the group in a transitional phase. Fans are eagerly waiting for KATSEYE’s Wild EP, which is set for an Aug 14, 2026, release date. Even though this will be KATSEYE’s third EP, the lineup of the group will feature only five of its members, as Manon has been on hiatus since February due to health reasons.
Nevertheless, in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the group reflected on their journey and bonding. Member Lara Raj emphasized that their emotional bond with each other is their strongest asset. "The safest space that we had was within the six of us," Raj said in the interview with the publication. "It’s such a blessing that we actually have such a genuine bond. Because if we didn’t and we were stuck in this, it would be hell," she added further.
