  • KATSEYE places three songs simultaneously on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 charts
  • Gabriela and Internet Girl demonstrate sustained global popularity across the U.S., UK, and Spotify charts.
  • The group is Grammy-nominated and set to perform at Coachella 2026, marking major international recognition.

KATSEYE, HYBE's global girl group, achieved a remarkable feat on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart by placing three songs at the same time this week. It is the group's first achievement of such magnitude, while also serving as a significant benchmark for other K-pop acts in 2026.

KATSEYE's breakthrough hit Gabriela ascended to No. 21 on the Hot 100, achieving its greatest peak to date and extending its chart run into its 25th week. This climb indicates unusual longevity for a song that was released in mid-2025, as well as sustained popularity in the United States that goes much beyond typical launch spikes.

KATSEYE's latest song, Internet Girl, debuted at No. 29 on the Hot 100, becoming the group's other big entry on the list thus far. The song has previously achieved outstanding performances on the UK Official Charts and Spotify charts as well. Reportedly, it debuted at No. 24 on the most recent Official Singles Top 100 chart, which is dated Jan 9 to 15, 2026, thus establishing the group’s greatest performance on that chart. Furthermore, Internet Girl peaked at No. 19 on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs USA chart, which dated around Jan 2-8. The song also achieved a 31st position on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global, indicating its consistent popularity since its initial release.

On the other hand, Gnarly, a track from 2025, returned to the Hot 100 chart at No. 89, completing a rare trio of simultaneous entries but not without slipping seven places from its earlier chart rankings. Notably, only a few K-pop artists, such as BTS, Jungkook, NewJeans, and Jennie, have had three singles on this particular chart together.

KPop Demon Hunters and Stray Kids Shine Alongside KATSEYE

Apart from KATSEYE, songs from the original soundtrack of Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters also performed well on the chart, with Golden at No. 3, Soda Pop at No. 39, Your Idol at No. 49, and How It's Done at No. 50. However, the movie's soundtrack dropped one rank to No. 4 on the Billboard 200 main albums chart, continuing its streak of 29 weeks in the top ranking. Nonetheless, KATSEYE’s album Beautiful Chaos peaked at No. 32, whilst boy band Stray Kids' Do It showed up at No. 155.

KATSEYE's ascent follows HYBE and Geffen Records' strategic positioning of the group to appeal to a worldwide audience, which combines K-pop methodology with Western market rollout trends. Analysts believe the group's current chart presence demonstrates K-pop acts' expanding popular resonance beyond traditional fandom-driven peaks, which has important implications for potential U.S. market penetration.

Notably, the HYBE girl group has also been selected for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 68th Grammy Awards, which will take place next month. Additionally, they are scheduled to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2026 as well.
