Amazon Prime Video has added Monster Strike: Deadverse Reloaded anime, the latest television adaptation of MIXI’s long-running Monster Strike mobile role-playing franchise. The series was originally broadcast in Japan from Oct 21, 2025, to Dec 23, 2025, across 45 stations, including Tokyo MX, and Japan’s TVer service.

After its regional broadcast, the announcement by AIR on Jan 6, 2026, confirms broader access for the Monster Strike: Deadverse Reloaded anime in select regions, including the U.S. and the U.K. The anime has run for only one cour (quarter of the year) so far, and all ten released episodes are now available on Prime Video in the original Japanese language with English subtitles.

Production Details of Monster Strike: Deadverse Reloaded

Monster Strike: Deadverse Reloaded was produced by Yumeta Company, a Japanese animation studio known for work on series such as Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning and My Next Life as a Villainess. The series was directed by Masao Ōkubo, famed for Record of Ragnarok seasons 1 & 2.

Ōkubo collaborated with Noriyuki Nakamura, who served as assistant director. Hayato Kazano, known for the thriller series Classroom of Elite, and Jin Haganeya co-wrote the series composition and scripts, while Kazumi Inadome handled character design.

The main voice cast features Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Jugemu, Kana Ichinose as Rinne, Kana Hanazawa as Yakumo, and Inori Minase as Neo, thereby bringing notable industry names to the production. Music production saw contributions from artists including Da-iCE for the opening theme and YZERR for the ending theme, reflecting a blend of pop and hip-hop influences in the series’ sound and music design overseen by Magic Capsule and MIRACLE BUS.

Deadverse Reloaded Follows Cross-Media Adaptations From Monster Strike Franchise

Prime Video's Deadverse Reloaded anime is rooted in the Monster Strike mobile game, developed by Mixi and first released in September 2013 for iOS and Android devices. The game quickly became a cultural and commercial force, generating tens of billions of dollars in lifetime gross revenue and maintaining a substantial player base.

By 2025, industry tracking placed Monster Strike among the highest-grossing mobile games of all time, with over $11 billion USD in gross revenue. It has also expanded with previous cross-media adaptations spanning original net anime (ONA) and movies.

The first 52-episode net anime season premiered in October 2015, followed by a second season in 2017, a third in 2018, and the final arc in 2019. The franchise also features multiple spin-off series based on prominent characters, including Lucifer and Arthur, along with theatrical films such as Monster Strike the Movie and Monster Strike the Movie: Sora no Kanata.
