After owning the living rooms of people around the world for years, Netflix is now coming to the concert arenas. The fictional “Honmoon” energy of the film’s animated girl group HUNTR/X is now set to be transferred to the audience via tangible live experience. The news of a KPop Demon Hunters live concert tour arrived on May 14, 2026, when the streaming giant officially released a statement on their website.

Who is organizing the KPop Demon Hunters live tour?

The highly anticipated Netflix KPop Demon Hunters world tour will take place in collaboration with AEG Presents. Notably, AEG has promoted several historic, sold-out world tours for K-pop artists like BLACKPINK, JENNIE, ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, G-Dragon, LE SSERAFIM, XG, NCT 127, (G)I-DLE, BIGBANG, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER. Through this partnership, Netflix is leveraging a partner with deep infrastructure in global K-pop promotion while building on the Billboard results of the film’s fictional group HUNTR/X. Notably, the group became the first K-pop girl group to top the Billboard Hot 100.

Why KPop Demon Hunters Became a Worldwide Phenomenon?

The Sony Pictures Animation production has rewritten the entertainment industry's records. Netflix data had earlier revealed that the animated film had crossed 500 million views since its June 2025 debut. The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack added another 25.4M views during the August 18 to 24 period, bringing its viewership total to 236M views. Meanwhile, in the second half of last year alone, the film has amassed 482M views. These metrics have solidified its status as the most-watched title in its history over a six-month period.

This is not just a statistical win but a greater digital haul, as the film’s cultural popularity was further confirmed by an awards season sweep in 2026. Kpop Demon Hunters secured Oscars for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for the anthem Golden, the lead single from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack. Golden had also made history at the Grammys by winning the Best Song Written for Visual Media, marking a first for any K-pop song.

When Will KPop Demon Hunters Tour Tickets Go on Sale?

Although specific cities and dates for the Netflix KPop Demon Hunters tour are not yet revealed, Netflix has already activated its waitlist to provide curated information regarding the show set. This comes after a KPop Demon Hunters orchestral tour took place in South Korea. Notably, this orchestral tour began at Ulsan Culture & Arts Center on May 2 and moved next on to Busan Concert Hall on May 3.

Post the performance in Ulsan and Busan, the orchestral tour performed at the Sunrise Theater at Ansan Arts Center on May 5, Lotte Concert Hall in Seoul on May 23 and 24. The tour is reportedly still ongoing, with performances scheduled in venues like GS Caltex Yeulmaru in Yeosu on June 6, Art Center Incheon concert hall on June 20, and Tamna Hall at the International Convention Center Jeju on July 12.

What does the KPop Demon Hunters World Tour Featuring HUNTR/X Indicate for the Industry?

The timing of the KPop Demon Hunters live concert announcement acts as a systematic bridge to close the gap with the franchise’s future. Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria recently confirmed that a sequel is already being made, with directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans returning to helm the next chapter. By developing the film into a real-world event, the Netflix KPop Demon Hunters aims to deepen the fandom intensity that Bajaria claims to have “crossed languages, generations, and genres.”

For an industry that is closely observing the growth of a streaming IP to new heights, the KPop Demon Hunters arena tour represents more than a merchandising opportunity. It is a strategic bet on a digital hit, where observers are eager to see if it can sustain the weight of a global tour.
