Bandai Namco music label Lantis completed a 52-week, one-CD-per-week release campaign for THE IDOLM@STER Million Live! on July 15, earning a Guinness World Records title. The SPECIAL SOLO RECORDS received the Guinness record for the “most consecutive weeks to release a version of the same music on a CD by a music act,” the label announced on July 24.
The record stems from a year-long initiative that released 52 solo collection CDs over consecutive weeks, with each album featuring one of the IDOLM@STER’s 52 idols. The campaign ran uninterrupted from July 23, 2025, to July 15, 2026, beginning with Mirai Kasuga and concluding with Ritsuko Akizuki.
Million Live! is a spinoff of Bandai Namco’s long-running IDOLM@STER idol franchise, built around a roster of 52 virtual idols on the GREE platform. The series only has its second title, THE IDOLM@STER Million Live! Theater Days (2017) available right now, as the original game ended its service.
THE IDOLM@STER Million Live! RECORDS Campaign Culminates in Fan Celebration
Lantis first announced its Guinness World Records challenge in May 2025, framing the SPECIAL SOLO RECORDS campaign as a year-long attempt. Alongside the music releases, the label offered collector incentives, including exclusive purchase bonuses for fans completing the full 52-CD collection.
THE IDOLM@STER’s SPECIAL SOLO RECORDS has a total of nine songs and is priced at ¥3,300 ($20.21 USD), with taxes. Every CD contains the same songs. They are:

Lantis paired the Guinness World Records milestone with a fan event scheduled for Oct 25, 2026, in Tokyo. Lantis will select 100 attendees by lottery using serial codes packaged inside the SPECIAL SOLO RECORDS CDs. The venue for the fan event has not been announced; it will be disclosed when winners are notified.
The lottery commenced on July 23 and will accept applications till August 1, 2026. Six voice actors from the franchise, including Eriko Nakamura, Naomi Wakabayashi, and Ayaka Suwa, are scheduled to appear. Additionally, attendees will receive a named certificate of participation.
The Guinness title adds another milestone to THE IDOLM@STER Million Live! as the franchise continues to blend music, games, and anime into a unified business model. Million Live! later expanded into a TV anime produced by Shirogumi that aired in October 2023.
