Game Awards 2025 to Stream on Amazon Prime Video

Prime Video by Amazon will stream the Game Awards 2025 live on Prime Video for the first time on Dec. 11, expanding its role in gaming entertainment. The show will air from Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater between 8 and 11 pm ET, alongside broadcasts on Twitch and YouTube.

The partnership connects Prime Video, Twitch, and Amazon Games under one ecosystem. Hosted by the creator and CEO of The Game Awards, Geoff Keighley, the Game Awards 2025 will feature premieres, new announcements, and performances. Keighley stated that Prime Video was a “natural home” for the event as Amazon continues to develop gaming series such as Fallout season 2.

Game Awards 2025 on Amazon Prime: Video Streams, Commerce, and Esports Highlights

The Game Awards 2025 will stream in 2K (1440p) on Twitch for the first time, allowing thousands of creators to co-stream. In 2024, over 11,000 creators helped generate 154M livestreams across platforms. Viewers who watch at least 30 minutes will receive exclusive Twitch Drops, including in-game rewards and a TGA chat badge, with details to follow.

During the broadcast, Amazon will relaunch its Game Awards Shop, offering Prime-exclusive limited-time deals on games, hardware, and accessories. The offers will update in real time during the show and remain active for 24 hours, with broader discounts continuing through Dec. 31, 2025.

Esports will again be a key segment, featuring awards for Best Esports Game, Best Esports Team, and Best Esports Athlete. Last year’s winners were League of Legends, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, and T1. Following T1’s Worlds 2025 victory, they are expected to remain strong contenders this year.

By adding the Game Awards 2025 to Prime Video, Amazon extends its gaming and e-commerce integration. The collaboration strengthens its streaming reach, while positioning Prime Video as a leading platform for global gaming audiences.
