AMD will stage its annual GameOn event at Hyderabad’s HICC venue on November 1–2, teaming up with IndiaJoy 2025 to create a large-scale festival for gaming enthusiasts, creators, and tech developers. Organizers expect strong community turnout as entry is free, with a packed schedule combining competitive esports, PC hardware showcases, and interactive audience activities.
AMD to Host Its Hardware Showcase at GameOn
Central to GameOn 2025 is its technology showcase. Hands-on booths will allow attendees to try out AMD’s Copilot+ AI-powered laptops, experience new Radeon PRO R9700 GPU hardware, and participate in demo sessions led by top Indian tech creators. AMD Buildmasters, a live PC building contest in partnership with AORUS, adds to the hands-on appeal for aspiring system builders.
Esports remains a major draw, featuring a nationwide Counter-Strike 2 tournament with a INR 5 lakh prize pool, concluding with LAN finals alongside a showmatch led by notable creators such as Hi5 Gamer and Miss Senorita. Partner studios like Zombiefox and Gods and Heroes will demo new games built on AMD’s latest processors and graphics cards, continuing GameOn’s tradition of spotlighting made-in-India titles.
The program also includes expert panels and fireside chats. Andrej Zdravkovic, AMD’s Chief Software Officer, and Astra Studios founder Shajy Thomas will discuss AI, gaming, and content creation. Gabor Sines, another AMD veteran, is slated to present on the intersection of artificial intelligence and gaming at the GameOn stage.
Sponsors and partners contribute additional hardware experiences: Gigabyte AORUS showcases new Radeon GPUs and AMD motherboards, Logitech G brings its flagship racing peripherals, Zowie delivers esports-grade displays, and PowerA highlights cross-platform controllers for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
GameOn, first launched in 2016, now serves as both a major gathering for India's gaming communities and a tech industry showcase. AMD positions the event as a bridge connecting makers, players, and hardware providers, without direct product pitches. Instead, the agenda emphasizes engagement, hands-on learning, and open competition. Registrations for tournaments and event activities are now open, with organizers encouraging interested gamers and creators to participate through the official GameOn website
