Assassin’s Creed Heredis Takes Series Beyond Games
Ubisoft expands Assassin’s Creed with Heredis, a live stage show featuring parkour, combat, and acrobatics.
Highlights
- Assassin’s Creed Heredis marks a new direction for Ubisoft’s long-running franchise.
- The production follows an original story centered on Naël and his search for his missing father.
- The stage show expands Assassin’s Creed into a new form of entertainment beyond its traditional game releases.
Assassin’s Creed Heredis will bring Ubisoft’s franchise to the stage for the first time, beginning its Montreal run on Dec 3, 2026. The production follows the successful release of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced earlier in 2026 and offers fans a new way to experience the series while Ubisoft continues work on its next games.
Assassin’s Creed Heredis Follows Naël Across Historical Eras
Produced by Les 7 Doigts de la main and La Tribu, Heredis will run at Théâtre Maisonneuve in Montreal from Dec 3-20, with 18 performances. Tickets are available now, priced from $72.59 USD to $180.56, with taxes and fees included.
The two-hour show follows Naël, who refuses to accept his father’s disappearance.
On his 25th birthday, a mysterious letter leads him into the HEREDIS program. There, he and his allies face trials across different historical eras as they search for his father.
Seventeen performers bring the story to the stage through urban parkour, acrobatics, choreographed combat, and other physical performances, using immersive environments inspired by Assassin’s Creed. The production is designed to work for newcomers as well as existing fans and contains “many references” to the game series.
Heredis Takes Assassin’s Creed Beyond Games
The production will return to Paris from Jan 21 to Feb 7, 2027. Since its current performances in Montreal and Paris are in French, international audiences will face a language barrier. However, the production is designed to be accessible to newcomers, meaning audiences do not need to be familiar with the Assassin’s Creed games to enjoy the show.
The stage production represents another expansion for a franchise that has already moved into novels, film, comics, and a forthcoming live-action Netflix series. Ubisoft has also continued teasing Assassin’s Creed HEXE, although a full reveal has yet to take place.
The production takes Assassin’s Creed into a new medium while retaining its focus on history, combat, and parkour.
