In a landmark moment for Indian gaming, the city of Jaipur is gearing up to host Rajasthan’s first-ever major national esports LAN championship. Krafton India is officially bringing the highly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2026 Grand Finals to the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC) from June 19 to 21. Featuring a record-breaking ₹4 Cr prize pool and the opportunity to represent India on the global stage, this three-day offline spectacle promises to be one of the most consequential tournaments in the country's esports history.

The stakes for these Grand Finals have never been higher. Out of the massive prize pool, the championship-winning squad will walk away with a staggering ₹60L. The second and third-place teams will take home ₹30L and ₹20L, respectively, while the tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP) will be rewarded with ₹4L.

But the ultimate prize extends far beyond domestic wealth. The champion of BMPS 2026 will secure a direct ticket to represent India at the Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, France, which runs from July 6 to August 23. An additional global slot will also be determined through the Krafton India Esports Rankings, making this Jaipur showdown a critical gateway for Indian athletes dreaming of international glory.

18 Matches, 16 Elite Squads: The Road to the Grand Finals

Fans attending the massive arena in Sitapura's RIICO Industrial Area can expect relentless, high-octane action. The Grand Finals will unfold over 18 gruelling matches, with six matches scheduled each day to test the endurance and strategic depth of the 16 elite contending squads. Half of the lobby is already locked in, with eight powerhouse rosters bypassing the brutal survival stages to secure direct qualification.

These heavyweights include GodLike Esports, iQOO 8Bit, iQOO Soul, Vasista Esports, Divine Gaming, iQOO Orangutan, Victores Sumus, and 7Gods Esports. The remaining eight slots are currently being contested by teams battling through the Semi-Finals from June 9 to 12, followed by a tense Last Chance stage on June 13 and 14.

Choosing the Pink City as the host venue highlights Krafton India's commitment to decentralizing esports, intentionally moving massive live events beyond traditional metropolitan hubs like Mumbai and Delhi. It also shines a much-needed spotlight on homegrown talent from Rajasthan. Local heroes like Divay Pratap Singh of White Walkers and Ashutosh Singh of True Rippers are currently fighting hard in the Semi-Finals to make their home state proud.

Meanwhile, Arman of iQOO Orangutan, one of India’s most accomplished BGMI athletes who previously led his team to the BMSD 2025 championship and represented India on a global stage, has already secured his spot in the Grand Finals. Karan Pathak, Associate Director of Esports at Krafton India, noted that Jaipur’s world-class event infrastructure, passionate youth audience, and rapidly growing gaming community made it a natural choice to host the biggest BGMI event of the year.

State Government Support & India's Booming Gaming Market

This landmark championship arrives at a transformative time for India’s broader esports ecosystem. Over the last few years, competitive gaming has evolved from a niche digital pastime into one of the fastest-growing entertainment sectors, boasting over 520M gamers nationwide. With mobile titles accounting for more than 80% of this market, Krafton's structured competitive pathways are crucial for nurturing professional talent.

The Rajasthan state government has recognized this cultural shift, showing strong support through grassroots initiatives like the Rajasthan State Esports Championship 2025, which engaged college players across 41 districts. As BMPS 2026 prepares to crown a national champion, it is clear that Jaipur is rapidly cementing itself as a prominent new hub for India's competitive gaming future.
