Highlights

  • Epic Games debunks the “littlestjeff1” Epstein Fortnite link.
  • Alias appears in YouTube email records and a 2019 V-Bucks receipt.
  • No matching emails were found; a recent username change misled trackers.

Epic Games has rejected online claims linking a Fortnite account to Jeffrey Epstein, confirming the profile identified as “littlestjeff1” is not connected to the late financier. The rumor gained traction after the alias appeared in Epstein-related documents and was later traced to Fortnite activity. The company issued its clarification on Feb 6, 2026, through official posts on X.

“Hey Official Fortnite here - this was a ruse by a Fortnite player,” the Fortnite status account wrote on X. It added that “an existing Fortnite account owner changed their username from something totally unrelated to littlestjeff1, following the revelation of littlestjeff1 as a name on YouTube.”

The alias appears in justice.gov material that includes emailed YouTube purchase records.

One 2014 message references a subscription update addressed to “littlestjeff1.” A separate May 7, 2019, record shows a $25.95 USD charge for Fortnite V-Bucks. These disclosures led online users to search gaming platforms for the same username.

Epic Games Says Username Change Fueled False Theories

Users located a Fortnite account using the alias, and tracker databases displayed gameplay statistics such as matches, playtime, and wins extending beyond 2019.

Some viral X posts cited Chapter 1 Season 10 activity, Fortnite Wrapped data, and timeline comparisons to suggest account use after Epstein’s Aug. 10, 2019, death. One thread also claimed the profile went private as speculation spread.

Epic stated tracker services “only display your current name, not any prior changes to it,” and confirmed it has “no record of the subject's email addresses referenced in the public document existing in the Epic account system.” It added that since the document releases, users have created similar email addresses and usernames.

Meanwhile, Epic Games CEO, Tim Sweeney, wrote on X, “Someone's been having fun renaming their Fortnite account, but it's recent and not connected to the email addresses in the archive.”

The clarification attributes the controversy to username changes, partial document interpretation, and viral amplification rather than any verified link to Epstein. The Epstein files continue to draw scrutiny, with major industry names referenced and prompting heightened efforts to refute alleged associations.
