KRAFTON Bets on New Franchises at Gamescom 2026
KRAFTON introduces five upcoming games across different genres.
Highlights
- KRAFTON is expanding its portfolio beyond PUBG with new franchises and gameplay formats.
- The lineup spans FPS, MOBA, co-op, dark fantasy, and roguelite gameplay.
- KRAFTON India has invested over $250M in Indian startups since 2021.
KRAFTON used Gamescom 2026 to present five upcoming titles as part of its strategy to build global franchises across original worlds, new gameplay formats, and established properties. At its third consecutive KRAFTON Media Day in Cologne, Germany, the company outlined a lineup that takes its portfolio in several new directions.
Taeseok Jang, head of global publishing and the PUBG franchise, stated that KRAFTON's experience with PUBG showed that creating games that last “takes time.” The company is now applying those lessons across its studios.
What Can Players Expect From KRAFTON's Gamescom 2026 Lineup?
Here is what KRAFTON is showcasing at Gamescom 2026:
- NO LAW: Neon Giant's open-world FPS RPG takes place in Port Desire, where player actions influence opportunities, threats, and stories through Unreal technologies.
- Age Twisters: Piccolo Studio's two-player co-op adventure follows a grandfather and granddaughter through four stages of life, with changing abilities and dialogue connecting gameplay to its story.
- Project ZETA: NIRVANANA's Multi-team Tactical Arena replaces MOBA lanes with four teams of three competing around objectives from the start. Global testing is shaping development with its community.
- TARAE: The Unbound: Boundary's dark fantasy action RPG draws on reincarnation, karma, and East Asian mythology, aesthetics, and cultural influences.
- PUBG: DED.NET: PUBG STUDIOS takes the franchise to 1996 Cascadia, combining its survival and competitive foundations with roguelite runs shaped by player choices.
Gamescom runs from Aug 26 to 30, 2026, with all five titles available at KRAFTON's Hall 9 booth at Koelnmesse.
