KRAFTON Expands its BGMI Esports Ecosystem

The two events build on KRAFTON India's BGIS and BMPS competitions. They also arrive as India's esports sector sees government recognition, adoption in Tier-2 markets, growing audiences, and more international opportunities.

BGMI has surpassed 200M downloads, according to KRAFTON India. The company has invested more than $200M USD in Indian startups across esports, gaming, interactive entertainment, and technology since 2021. It also supports local game development through the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator.

Together, BMSD and BMIC give India's top teams separate domestic and international stages to close the 2026 competitive season.
