Sony has announced its next State of Play will stream on Thursday, Feb 12, featuring more than an hour of PlayStation 5 announcements and updates. The broadcast will air at 2 pm PT, 5 pm ET, 10 pm GMT, and 11 pm CEST, with a Feb 13, 7 am JST simulcast. It will be available live on YouTube and Twitch in English with Japanese subtitles.

Sony stated on Bluesky that the presentation will include “news, gameplay updates, and announcements from game studios across the globe.”

The company added that the showcase will highlight “eye-catching third-party and indie games headed to PS5, along with the latest from teams at PlayStation Studios.” An official PlayStation blog post, on Feb 9, also confirmed the 60+ minute format and global studio participation.

State of Play February 2026 PS5 Showcase Lineup Context

The event follows November 2025’s Japan-focused State of Play, which featured Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake, Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Octopath Traveler 0, and Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows.

Meanwhile, September 2025’s main showcase included Saros, Nioh 3, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Battlefield 6, and Marvel’s Wolverine.

Sony’s confirmed 2026 first-party slate includes MLB The Show 26, Marathon (March 5), Saros (April 30), and Marvel’s Wolverine (Q3-Q4 2026). It is also publishing Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, developed by Arc System Works.

Upcoming third-party PS5 titles include WWE 2K26, Pragmata, Monster Hunter Stories 3, Fatal Frame II Remake, 007 First Light, Life is Strange: Reunion, Phantom Blade Zero, Forza Horizon 6, Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, and Grand Theft Auto 6.

Sony noted the broadcast may contain licensed music that could affect co-streams or Video on Demand (VOD) archives. It advised creators to omit copyrighted tracks when reposting content.

With first-party launches approaching and third-party support expanding, the showcase serves as Sony’s next checkpoint for its PS5 software pipeline.
