Bandai Namco Entertainment has unveiled three additional original Soul Reaper characters for BLEACH Mirrors High, the upcoming mobile action RPG based on Tite Kubo’s BLEACH franchise. The announcement was made on July 18 through the game’s official website alongside a new overview trailer, offering a closer look at the title’s combat systems and original cast.

The game was first announced at Anime Expo 2026 on July 4. BLEACH Mirrors High was introduced as a free-to-play mobile action game, set after the events of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, the concluding narrative in Kubo’s original manga.

The game follows new Soul Reapers in an original story with character designs by Tite Kubo. The latest reveal will add three rookie Soul Reapers who will join the previously announced protagonists, Shirin Migishima and Shirane Sanari.

Bandai’s BLEACH Mirrors High: Five Original Characters, Three New Faces

Kubo has now designed five original characters for the BLEACH Mirrors High game. The announcement also came with the voice cast of new characters, Naru Jurinna, Maiko Tokishima, and Giro Hando.

  • Naru Jurinna (voiced by Fuka Izumi): A newly created Soul Reaper who joins the game’s central cast as part of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads. Izumi said she once recited Hadō #33 (Sōkatsui) incantation as a student, and called landing the role hard to process.
  • Giro Hando (voiced by Shogo Batori): Batori described breaking down during his audition and blurting out a Kurohitsugi incantation, convinced it would cost him the part. Giro is also a part of the game’s original narrative rather than the existing franchise canon.
  • Maiko Tokishima (voiced by Yu Sasahara): Sasahara called Bleach her reason for pursuing voice acting and said landing the role felt predestined. She rounds out the expanding group of new Soul Reapers created specifically for the mobile title.

The newly revealed BLEACH Mirrors High trailer introduced these three new characters as part of the Gotei 13, following a commemorative glimpse of previous Bleach narratives. The trailer also features Ichigo, Rukia, Renji, Byakuya, and Toshiro, introducing them as playable characters.

In Mirrors High, players can customize the avatars and zanpakuto to their liking, as shown in the new trailer. The game’s closed beta will run for a week and accept up to 20K participants. The  closed beta test, opening on Android and iOS, will span July 22 to July 29.

As BLEACH Mirrors High continues to build its original cast, the broader franchise is entering a pivotal period. The fourth and final cour of the BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (BLEACH: TYBW) anime is starting to broadcast on July 25, bringing the television adaptation of Tite Kubo’s long-running manga to its conclusion.
