BTS 2026 World Tour: Ticket, Merch & Revenue Forecast

BTS 2026 world tour could break records with higher ticket prices and strong merchandise sales, boosting HYBE's revenue.

  • BTS 2026 tour expected to earn over ₩1.4 trillion, boosting HYBE’s revenue.
  • The tour aims to cover over 65 shows globally, with 37+ shows in North America and Europe.
  • HYBE’s merch strategy could back BTS 2026 tour, redefining K-pop concert revenue models.

The forthcoming BTS full-group global tour beginning in 2026 is estimated to bring in up to ₩1.4 trillion (more than $1 billion) for HYBE. This surge is attributed not only to the number of concerts taking place, but also to greater ticket prices and increased merchandise sales.

According to industry sources, the 2026 tour will include over 65 global shows, with North America and Europe together accounting for over 37 performances. The tour will reportedly begin in late April, following the release of a new album in March.

However, given that the MAP OF THE SOUL tour was announced three months in advance, the full tour schedule could also be revealed as early as January 2026. Taking this into account, the anticipation of the tour may be visible very well in December stock prices.

BTS 2026 World Tour Ticket Surge Boosted by Merchandise Sales

The notable metric is ticket pricing. Industry experts predict that North American concert ticket costs will rise to around $220 on average. Whereas, global average ticket price (ATP) is predicted at roughly ₩270,000, which is much higher than previous predictions.

Interestingly, BLACKPINK's previous tour had an average ticket price of $248. J-Hope ($198) and Suga ($218) have also come close or surpassed the $200 mark on their solo tours. The ATP figures of J-Hope and Suga are noteworthy because solo tour demand is often lower than full-group events.

This indicates that ticket sales alone might generate almost ₩900 billion. Furthermore, increased demand for official merchandise, particularly the new ARMY light stick and other goods such as memorabilia, is projected to provide a significant boost.

Analysts point out that the BTS fans have extremely great purchasing power when compared to other artists. Capitalizing on this, HYBE has opened pop-up stores in places beyond their performing areas.

Additionally, this is BTS's first full global tour in almost four years, and analysts predict that these moves will result in increased merch sales, accounting for a significant portion of the expected overall revenue of ₩1.3 to ₩1.4 trillion.

HYBE BTS 2026 Tour Set to Redefine K-Pop Concert Economics

The 2026 BTS global tour is expected to provide HYBE with a significant earnings bump following the group's military hiatus. With combined ticket and product sales, it could be the most successful K-pop tour ever, suggesting that fewer, higher-priced events with strong merchandise sales can compete with traditional volume-based touring models.

For the entire industry, the tour may set a new standard in international concert economics. Between 2015 and 2022, BTS made approximately $300 million (roughly ₩430 billion) from tours, as reported by U.S. magazine Pollstar. Nevertheless, various other publications like Moneycontrol, The Korea Times, and Chosunbiz report that the sum could be higher than estimated.
