Ticket reservations for BTS’ free comeback concert at Gwanghwamun Square will open at 8 pm through NOL Ticket, BigHit Music announced. The event, titled BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang, will take place on March 21, 2026, at Gwanghwamun Square. It will begin at 8 pm KST (3 am PST) and run for approximately one hour.
It will mark the group’s first live performance in support of a new album in nearly four years.
Access to designated viewing areas will be limited to advance ticket holders selected through a Weverse lottery. Each person may reserve one seated ticket, subject to a handling fee.
A separate standing zone near the extended stage will be allocated to 2K fans selected through a draw among those who preordered BTS’ fifth full-length album, Arirang. The album will be released at 1 pm on March 20, 2026.
Meanwhile, organizers warned that macro use or unauthorized purchases may lead to legal penalties. Some seats may have limited visibility, with LED screens installed to assist viewing.
BTS Gwanghwamun Concert Tickets and Citywide Crowd Control Plan
With police estimating that up to 260K people could gather around Gwanghwamun Square, authorities have outlined a detailed safety strategy. The area will be managed as a virtual “stadium,” stretching about 1.2 kilometers from Gwanghwamun Woldae past the statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin to City Hall Station.
The designated event perimeter will span roughly 200 meters east to west.
29 passageways will manage entry and exit, and the site will be divided into Core, Hot, Warm, and Cold zones. Subway bypasses, road controls, and enhanced monitoring for crime and scalping may be implemented if needed.
Netflix posted on its social media handle that the concert will stream “LIVE worldwide exclusively on Netflix.” The platform will also release BTS: THE RETURN, a documentary film on the making of the album.
The scale of preparations reflects the expected turnout as BTS returns to Gwanghwamun Square for its comeback stage.
