The live music landscape in 2026 is experiencing a foundational shift that is defining usual industry logic. As per the May 1 Pollstar Artist Power Index, Bruno Mars maintains a three-week success on the No. 1 position in the airplay and streaming segment. However, it is BTS who has dominated the “Live” category. The group has attained the No. 4 position in the chart, considering overall metrics, but their success in the “Live” segment showcases that their touring gravity remains strong. It is further bolstered by their current Arirang world tour, which depicted that even with years of absence from the industry, momentum could be sustained.

BTS 2019 Tour Set the Modern Stadium Benchmark

BTS’ stadium dominance is not a new development, instead, it is a continuation of a precedent set by their previous performances. That mid-tour snap alone indicated a $78 million USD gross, laying the groundwork for what would become a $300M career touring outcome by 2022.

BTS’ latest No. 1 Live status is remarkable when compared to their 40th-place streaming rank and 96th-place airplay rank. The gap in streaming is revealed by the fluctuations of rankings on Billboard charts; nevertheless, its No. 2 Social Rank, coupled with its No. 1 Live status, highlights the band’s popularity amongst the masses.
