The city had also shut down Tampa Bay Boulevard for a few days to simply contain the merchandise lines.

Mayor Jane Castor also bathed the City Hall and notable bridges in purple light to welcome 190,000 attendees over a three-night run from April 24 to 26, 2026. Interestingly, earlier forecasts noted that the BTS Tampa concert could bring in about 180,000 visitors.
