On April 30, 2026, HYBE’s act ENHYPEN made an addition to their brand. Six years after their debut, the boy band has now revealed ENCHIN, a set of six stylized animal characters that resemble the members. This is similar to their senior labelmates, BTS, who launched BT21 in collaboration with LINE FRIENDS in October 2017. It further expanded into a separate merch line associated with the band. ENHYPEN, too, could follow the trajectory, but no official information about any merchandise based on this character-oriented lineup has been made public as of now.

Heeseung Exit Sparks Doubts but IP Launch Signals Stability?

Nevertheless, with group member Heeseung departing the band on March 10, many fans fear that ENHYPEN may be nearing dissolution, thus assuming that its label may not invest heavily in character-driven dolls and physical merchandise. Whereas Heeseung, who is still associated with the label, is currently rebranding as a soloist under the name EVAN. His debut stage is set for August 16 at the KCON LA, as ENHYPEN moves forward as a six-member group.

Notably, ENHYPEN’s original seven-year deal with BELIFT LAB and HYBE Corporation is set to expire in 2027, but the launch of a new, long-term intellectual property (IP) hints at something more than just a merchandising launch. Industry observers and netizens have noted that such a move indicates a contract continuity, rather than an abrupt end.

Amidst this, ENHYPEN kicked off their BLOOD SAGA world tour with a three-night show at Seoul’s KSPO Dome, with 30 shows confirmed across America, Europe, and Asia. The tour, reportedly, is slated to run through March 2027, and the launch is further bolstered by their exclusive Spotify video podcast STAN:A. Notably, they have also garnered a nomination for Best Male K-Pop Artist at the 2026 American Music Awards. This trajectory suggests that the group is not just sustaining a transition but is actively growing its global reach.
