  • Park Bom's Instagram falsely showed a $4.5 quadrillion lawsuit against YG's founder.
  • Her agency confirmed no lawsuit was filed and all payments were settled.
  • The singer is officially on a health hiatus to focus on treatment.

D-Nation Entertainment stated no legal action was ever filed, clarifying the singer is on an official health hiatus after the bizarre Instagram post targeting YG's founder.

D-Nation Entertainment has officially shut down rumours that former 2NE1 member Park Bom filed a massive lawsuit against YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk after a quickly deleted post appeared on the singer's personal Instagram.

The controversy erupted on October 22, 2025, when Park Bom uploaded an image of what appeared to be an official legal complaint. The document listed her as the "Complainant" and Yang Hyun-suk as the "Accused", alleging fraud, embezzlement, and failure to provide payment for her "album sales, live performances, TV appearances, advertisements, and other entertainment-related activities".

What caused immediate alarm was the "insane" sum listed for damages: over $4.5 quadrillion USD. The document cited the figures "64272 trillion won" that exceed the entire global GDP. The post also included a phone number, adding to the confusion.

Agency Confirms Lawsuit Post Was a 'False Alarm'

The post was quickly deleted, but not before D-Nation Entertainment gave a concerning initial statement to the media outlet Sports Kyunghyang. “Park Bom is someone that we cannot control either,” the agency said. “We are looking into the lawsuit against Yang Hyun-Suk.”

This statement sparked widespread concern among fans for the singer’s well-being. However, just hours later, D-Nation issued a definitive and official clarification resolving the situation.

“It has been confirmed that the lawsuit was never filed,” D-Nation stated. “All settlements related to Park Bom’s 2NE1 activities have already been completed, and there is no record that the complaint uploaded to social media was ever filed.”

The agency provided further context, explaining that Park Bom has been on an official hiatus since August 2025 to focus on her health. “Park Bom has halted all activities and is focusing on treatment and recovery. We will do our utmost to help the artist regain her health.”

As of now, neither Yang Hyun-suk nor YG Entertainment has made any public comment. While the legal confusion has been resolved, fans are left debating whether the post was an expression of distress or the result of a potential account breach.
