  •  The Jujutsu Kaisen x Yokohama City will run from August 15-31, before culminating with Juju Fes 2026 -5th Anniversary, at K-Arena Yokohama.
  • Popular landmarks, including Yokohama Cosmo World, will host themed attractions and exclusive merchandise.

Yokohama City has entered into a collaboration with Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK) to celebrate the anime’s fifth anniversary as a citywide tourism campaign, scheduled for Aug 15-31, 2026. The JJK celebration will culminate with ‘Juju Fes 2026 -5th Anniversary-,’ which will be held at K-Arena Yokohama on Aug 29-30.

Starting from August 1, Yokohama Cosmo World, the YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN, and Yokohama Marine Tower will transform into JJK-inspired locations as part of the collaboration. The Jujutsu Kaisen 5th Anniversary x Yokohama City Collaboration campaign is a tourism partnership designed to encourage visitors to explore multiple attractions across the district.

The initiative is being organized by Yokohama City, the Yokohama Minato Mirai 21, the Yokohama City Tourism Association, and Toho Co., Ltd. The Jujutsu Kaisen x Yokohama City collab will offer original goods, food trucks, mini-games, and photo spots, among other attractions.

Jujutsu Kaisen 5th Anniversary x Yokohama City Campaign Combines Tourism with JJK-Themed Experiences

The Yokohama collaboration will feature an original sticker campaign, themed photo spots, large-scale displays, and special activations across participating venues. Visitors who purchase designated menu items or services at eligible stores will receive one of nine exclusive collaboration stickers, each tied to different characters.

Starting on August 15, large-format photo installations using newly drawn Jujutsu Kaisen fifth-anniversary artworks will also appear around the city. A large photo spot featuring a 28-character 5th-anniversary visual will be hosted in the Mirai Tube for fans.

At Marine Tower, the collaborative celebration event will include special tickets with novelty items and merchandise. Yokohama Cosmo World and the Air Cabin separately run their own collaboration, titled Jujutsu Kaisen Anime 5th Anniversary x Yokohama Cosmo World & YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN, from August 1.

These places will offer drink and food tie-ins, limited-time shops, a stamp rally, carnival games, an augmented-reality photo feature, among others. The 5th anniversary campaign marks Cosmo World’s second JJK collaboration; the amusement park previously hosted another tie-in event from Feb 14 to March 31, 2025.

The approach reflects a strategy increasingly adopted by Japanese cities, where popular anime franchises are integrated into tourism campaigns to increase visitor spending. To commemorate the collaboration between Yokohama City and Jujutsu Kaisen's 5th Anniversary, a new website has been launched as well.

The Yokohama campaign coincides with an active period for the Jujutsu Kaisen franchise. The franchise finished its third season run in March 2026 and announced season 4 during MAPPA’s 15th Anniversary livestream. The manga has already surpassed 150M in copies sold by 2025, with the volumes regularly ranking on domestic and international sales charts.

With this background, the Yokohama collaboration works as an anime tourism campaign leveraging one of anime’s most commercially successful modern franchises.
