  • The Naruto x Converse collaboration has returned for the holiday season, following its initial sell-out in May.
  • The restock features four limited-edition Chuck Taylor All Stars inspired by key characters from the series.
  • Limited availability and restricted access are once again driving strong demand.

The Naruto x Converse collection, which sold out quickly in May, has been restocked once again. For the holiday shopping season, the rebooted release will provide limited-edition sneakers themed on the characters of Gaara, Sasuke Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, and Naruto Uzumaki. Four character-inspired Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers are currently available at Viz Media's Viz Shop.

The latest release pairs are priced at $95 USD and include the most popular styles from the last launch. Converse has also brought back the line on its own platform, but sales are only accessible to registered users, sending many fans to Viz's storefront as sizes begin to sell out again.

Naruto x Converse: Sneaker Designs

Each shoe incorporates character-specific elements targeted directly at collectors while maintaining Converse's high-top Chuck Taylor look. Notably, the traditional All-Star patch is replaced by metal shuriken badges, and all four pairs include a silver heel label resembling a shinobi forehead protector, emphasizing the collection's attention to canon detail.

The Naruto Uzumaki pair has an orange-and-black color scheme, a shuriken All-Star, and a Nine-Tailed Fox image hidden inside the tongue. While Sasuke's design switches to muted gray and blue tones, highlighted with purple laces inspired by his rope belt. The Sauke-inspired shoe is covered with patterns of Sharingan (inner tongue area), and Oorochimaru-given Cursed Mark.

Inspired by his jonin outfit, Kakashi Hatake's version has a reddish embroidered Anbu crest near the heel with a white and blue colored body. Additionally, it features a hidden henohenomoheji illustration on the inside of the tongue of the shoe. The henohenomoheji is mostly used to represent "scarecrow," making it a visual pun on his name. Kakashi’s sneakers also have his Sharingan pattern on the outer area of the tongue.

Gaara's sneaker, on the other hand, has a rust-red finish with sand-toned highlights. The Gaara Converse shoe is also emphasized by Shukaku imagery inside the tongue and an embossed character for "love" in Japanese Kanji.

May Edition of Naruto x Converse Collab

The May collaboration line debuted on the Converse website, featuring a range of customizable designs, character-themed sneakers, and apparel. It also contained an Itachi Uchiha Converse Weapon model along with other character-inspired Chuck Taylor All Star versions.

Retail prices for the Chuck Taylor silhouettes began at about $80 for adults, with the Weapon Itachi pair priced around $130. On the contrary, the children's versions made their debuts at a lower price range. In addition to ready-made designs, Converse also provided a Converse By You customization option, which allowed fans to create unique Naruto-inspired sneakers starting at around $95. With the help of this concept, the sneaker brand expanded its lineup beyond the standard drops.

Sneaker communities reported near-immediate sell-through and increased activity on secondary markets during the collaboration's May debut. And now, the Christmas relaunch emphasizes Naruto's lasting cultural relevance to date, along with the effectiveness of cross-media commercialization in 2025.
