Highlights

  • Stray Kids have added two billion-stream EPs on Spotify, bolstering their status as one of K-pop's biggest global streaming acts.
  • The milestone depicts a wider trend of parallel commercial success in streaming as well as album sales.
  • As the group prepares its upcoming comeback and world tour, the latest achievement indicates that their global momentum is still accelerating.

JYP Entertainment’s Stray Kids have reached a major Spotify streaming milestone, with two of their EPs, Oddinary and ATE, each surpassing 1 billion streams. With this achievement, the number of billion-stream Stray Kids albums grew to six, cementing their status as the second-most K-pop Spotify records of this scale, trailing only behind BTS, according to The Korea Herald. Here is the list of all six albums :

  • Go Live (First LP)
  • In Life (First LP repackaged)
  • Noeasy (Second LP)
  • 5-Star (Third LP)
  • Oddinary (Sixth EP)
  • ATE (Ninth EP)

For industry stakeholders, this Stray Kids 1 billion streaming feat highlights a sustained commercial momentum that closes the gap between physical sales dominance with huge digital consumption ahead of the group’s highly anticipated comeback in 2026.

Billboard Success Mirrors Spotify Growth for the JYP Group

The digital performance of these specific titles reflects the historic trajectory of K-pop on global charts. Released in 2022 and 2024 respectively, Stray Kids’ Oddinary and ATE’s Spotify metrics directly align with their impact on Western charts, where both debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

This fueled a historic streak of eight consecutive Billboard 200 No. 1 albums for the group. According to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), Oddinary was the 14th best-selling album worldwide in 2022, while ATE placed in the top 10 of the IFPI Global Album Chart for 2024.

Physical Sales Reinforce Global Market Strength

Stray Kids’ cross-platform dominance is further supported by official market data. The Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) registered a Triple Million certification for ATE in April 2026, confirming that the K-pop album sales exceeded 3 million copies locally.

Whereas on the global level, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded a Gold certification to ATE for moving over 500,000 units in the U.S., proving that best-selling K-pop albums can achieve concurrent parity across physical and digital metrics.

Stray Kids World Tour 2026 to Hit the Stage Soon

JYP Entertainment’s Stray Kids’ record is further highlighted by the rollout of their 10th Korean EP, This & That, which is scheduled for an August 7, 2026, release. Early metrics indicate strong market demand for the Stray Kids’ new album based on the chart performance history of the group. Their pre-release Run It single topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 41 regions, including the U.S. and the U.K. Before the This & That EP drop, the group will launch their RUN IT World Tour with a Stray Kids Seoul concert series, a five-night KSPO Dome concert residency, positioning the group’s touring circuit as a major commercial driver for the final half of the year.
