The search for India’s best virtual footballers has reached its thrilling conclusion. NODWIN Gaming and PlayStation India have officially unveiled the top eight finalists for the PlayStation India Cup featuring EA SPORTS FC 26. The stage is set for a massive LAN finale, which will take place amidst the vibrant pop-culture energy of Delhi Comic Con at the NSIC Grounds in New Delhi on December 6 and 7, 2025.
The road to the capital was demanding, requiring immense skill and consistency from participants across the country. Following a rigorous online phase that featured nationwide weekly qualifiers and intense double-elimination playoffs, the elite contenders have emerged.
The eight finalists who secured their tickets to the national showdown are Charanjot Singh, Afnan Khan, Karman Tikka, Chaitanya Singh, Amaanuddin Warsi, Saransh Jain, Aditya Chadha, and Jahaan Khan. These competitors battled through a specific Best-of-2 (Home & Away) format to earn their spot on the main stage.
High Stakes and LAN Finale Experience
The stakes for this year’s championship are higher than ever, with significant rewards on the line. The finalists will compete for a share of a substantial ₹400,000 prize pool. In a move to reward the elite skill on display, all eight qualifiers will also receive a premium PlayStation DualSense Edge controller.
Additionally, official PlayStation merchandise will be up for grabs, making this one of the most rewarding competitive outings for the Indian console community. The LAN finale will follow a high-stakes double-elimination bracket over two days to determine the ultimate champion.
Fans attending Delhi Comic Con can expect a premium experience at the venue. Hosted inside the NODWIN Gaming Arena, the grand finale will offer attendees the chance to witness live esports action and participate in community interactions. There will also be exclusive hands-on PlayStation experiences available for gaming enthusiasts.
For those unable to attend in person, the tournament journey will be extensively covered through exclusive influencer content, live match coverage, and behind-the-scenes updates throughout the event.
Highlighting the importance of the event, Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming, noted that EA SPORTS FC 26 sits at the unique intersection of sport and gaming culture. He emphasized that while the console community in India is a niche segment, it is deeply committed and highly skilled.
Rathee stated that hosting the finale at a major youth convergence like Delhi Comic Con allows the organizers to tap into broader youth energy and showcase console esports on the stage it deserves.
